Brief Bio
Soroya Chen was born an only child in Boston, Mass.
Her mother and father had been decently well off, having been involved in the Real Estate business for some time.
They tried to get Soroya to follow in their footsteps, entrepreneurship and everything like it.
That's not what she had in the cards, as her discipoline record in school started to soar higher and higher as she got older.
Soroya loved to fight, got an adrenaline rush off of it actually, so any chance she got to pick one or end one—she took, and she always won.
Her parents weren't sure what else to do with her other than get her put into boxing classes, cage fighting, etc.
Cage fighting is where she had the most fun, making someone bleed, tap out, beg for mercy....yeah she might have been a little twisted.
It worked in her favor though, as she climbed the ranks for young girls in Boston and eventually would go on to compete statewide, her parents paying for her to have a manager so their hands were clean from all of the grime.
It was then she started to notice more and more girls her age starting to lose on purpose, managers cutting deals with whomever so that they could scrape by with more on the back end and not have to really try.
That didn't sit well with her, and she vowed to never go that route, it was dirty and well...she looked at girls who did that as straight pussies. What was the whole point of doing this, traning for this, if you were just going to wimp out, fall for a price.
The day came when her manager finally tried it on her, seeing if she wanted to make more money and throw a fight, to which she declined repeatedly. Unbeknownst to her, he had already set her opponent up to lose, either way he'd make a profit.
Whennthe girl dropped within the first few seconds and Soroya understood what was going on, she went crazy. Blacking out in a fit of rage she repeatedly beat her opponent's face in, fracturing her orbital socket among many other things as she had to be dragged off of her.
That was the last fight she fought in, deciding she needed to figure something else to do or keep it as a hobby to stay away from the ciorruption of it all. That led her into finally following her parent's footsteps and getting into real estate, she left the fighting behind and tried to live a different life, one she never felt comfortable in.
About six years back she moved to New York, settling into the area easily it seemed, and after selling only a few houses here and there Soroya decided she didn't want to do it anymore.
Keeping the money she made for savings purposes only, she started to bartend at Babylong, enjoying the atmosphere it brought along with its patrons. They were different, some she could tell were up to no good, but she knew when and when not to keep her mouth shut.
Soroya has been there since, minding her business for the most part and keeping some secrets she learns hidden in her backpocket.
