After being in California for almost a week I decided it was time to paint my apartment here in Chicago after realizing how blah the colors were once I got home this morning. Now I just need to figure out what colors I want to use in the different rooms. If you were spontaneous what colors would you use? I am open to all suggestions.

I also got another anon asking “What if you never played Brooke Davis” so I figured I’d condense the two into one answer.

Without OTH and Brooke I don’t think my life would be as complete as it is today. OTH opened so many doors and Brooke brought out a lot of confidence and courage that I never had before playing her. I love that I got to play a character that progressed and evolved so much over the seasons. Fun fact, Brooke was a character that was written in much later so it could have been possible for her to stay this one dimensional fun slutty cheerleader but the writers did so much more and I’m so grateful for that! That show allowed me to prove that I am capable of so many different types of storylines because Brooke went through it all! I’m so fortunate to have gotten to be a part of such an amazing show and cast! Without OTH I wouldn’t have some of my best friends and I probably wouldn’t be acting. I owe it all to that show.

Soffer has been there for me through absolutely everything pretty much since the first day I met him. He’s been my rock and without that I don’t even want to think about where I’d be today.

Jesse had always been a dog lover and had spent a lot of time with all her pets, especially her latest rescue who he frequently stole from her trailer when he wasn’t shooting. Once she was back she made her way to him, he stood up just in time for her arms to snake around him. He looked down at her with a big smile as his hands moved to her waist. “Miss me?” he asked with another smirk. “I was a little worried I’d wake up to a text telling me you’d changed your mind and didn’t want me to come. I’m glad you didn’t! Nick was very hard to convince though, I had to promise him a boys night on Friday. If you need me on Saturday I’ll probably be hung over and wishing I was dead.” He chuckled at the thought, already knowing he was going to regret agreeing to a night out with his roommate. He smiled against her lips, his hand cupping her cheek as he kissedher back just as deeply. He’d missed this.

“Wait -- I’m gonna need you to repeat that so I can get it on tape for when Nick tries to tell me he’s your favorite.” She smirked pulling her phone out of her back pocket, jokingly. “If I have to spend all Saturday rubbing your back while you keep your head in a toilet I’m going to have a very strongly worded conversation with that man! But I guess it’s only fair I let it happen considering I plan on having a girls night with Hil and Dee tomorrow night. Tequila is definitely going to happen but I will try to make sure the puking part come Friday morning when we fly back to Chicago doesn’t!” She knew the flight back would be miserable with a hangover but it was worth it to get some time with old friends.

Something he did, not just as Halstead, was grab her face when he kissed her and for whatever reason it drove the brunette crazy and he knew it. She leaned in closing all distance between their bodies, kissing him like her life depended on it. She had missed him and this even more than she realized and now she couldn’t stop.

would you ever go for a friend's ex?

I know I’m supposed to say no because to quote Gretchen Wieners “That’s just like the rules of feminism!” But like my last answer, it really all depends on the circumstances. If I KNEW my friend still had feelings for this person than absolutely not but if it was an okay breakup and my friend was over them then possibly? I’d always talk to them about it first and make sure it was okay. It’s highly unlikely that it would happen but if for some reason it did --- yeah.
