there comes a time when you realize that you only have two options:

1. to make other people happy by doing what they expect you to do or 2. to do what the hell you want to and please only yourself

there comes a time when you realize is too painful to try to do both and you have to choose what’s best to keep your sanity

do whatever you want be whatever you need to be people will judge you wether you do the things you love the most or not at least you'll be judged being happy and true to yourself the rest is just bad noise don't waste your time listening to it

the saddest part of life is that we always think the worst moments won't pass we want everything to be over when all we need is some reassurance that everything will be just fine... but we just can't see (yet) it actually will.

it took me a while to realize that if someone doesn't want me in their life then i have to let it go no matter how hard it will be. it'll hurt like hell, especially if it's someone that you love and care deeply about. but don't forget: the only certain that we have is that this is the only life we get. there's no second chances. so don't waste it on people that don't deserve you! later you'll look back and see that it was for the better. you will survive. i promise. just don't keep people in your life that give you 50% while you give them 100%. put your happiness first and surround yourself with people that want to see you happy. truly happy! - acsf

Myself versus my brain

M: I'm not in a very good place right now...

B: What do you mean by that?

M: (...)

B: Actually I know what you mean, I just think it would be better if you say it out loud.

M: It's hard to say. If the words are only inside my brain they can't become real and hurt even more.

B: I know that every time you lose focus on the conversation and they keep calling your name you're too far away to be reached. You keep thinking about things and the past and all this pain that you can't control. I know when you smile and change the subject you're trying really hard to not show how bad things really are. I know how this works. So don't think I don't understand. I know how you're feeling and how hard it is to get a little bit better. And I know how painful and dark the future looks, but I promise you from now on the fog will clear up.

x: why not?

y: because every time i try to think about all the words they slip away. i don't know what i did. so i can't fix something i don't even know why it's broken.

Dear future,

You expect so much from me.

You expect me to be the best version of myself. You expect me to know things I don’t think I’m capable of.

You expect me to wake up everyday till I figure this out.

And in this meantime I expect you to be good. I expect you to be easier than right now. I expect you to be better.

I expect you to take me places I’m dreaming to be. I expect you to hold my first love. I expect you to make me feel better.

We both expect way too much. And we all know how things end when the expectations are too high. So, I will take my time and you take yours. I will wait until the time finally comes. I will make my way through you and then maybe we can stop expecting things from each other.
