WARNINGS: Brief mentions of ED, self image, misogyny, religious psychosis, childhood trauma (?), SH suggested though not explicitly mentioned, brief mention of death?
CHARACTERS: Jackson Hillwalker, William Hillwalker
π¦ A pure mama's boy through and through. When their mother was alive, he followed her around constantly like a duckling, and after her death, he followed William around. He became super religious whenever their mother got sick, as he constantly prayed, to whatever god out there, to help his mother with her illness. In a part of his mind, he believed the gods answered him by "giving" the "Lord's plant" to him and Will.
π¦ I'm sorry to say, but this man is soo misogynistic, especially after Mama died. He's never felt the loving touch of a female, ever, and it shows. He genuinely believes that the right way of life is for women to be house workers. A big part of why he believes this is due to his father. His father refused to do house work, and take care of his kids, claiming its a woman's job. Which is why his father abandoned William and Jackson after Mama died.
π¦ He could never be a father, or parental figure, for that matter. He is not a good fit at all. He lashes out, and rarely regrets the things he says. He will force his religion on the child, claiming that it is the only "right of way." He will make the mother do all the work, just like his father taught him. Maybe if his mama lived longer than she did, perhaps he wouldn't be so misogynistic.
π¦ Extremely religious (given). He prays every day, night, and meal. He prays about his Mama, his obsessions, and for forgiveness for the things he's done. Finds comfort in his Lord, even if it's just genuine religious psychosis and cult behavior. Carries his rosary in his pocket for whenever he feels the need to pray, along with wearing a silver cross necklace. William thinks its a bit intense, but he doesn't feel like he has a say.
π¦ Struggles with eating. He has unhealthy eating patterns, and does not eat enough to gain a healthy amount of weight. He doesn't know how to cook when he is hungry, so he flat-out rejects his need to eat. A big factor of this could be that he struggles with his self-image, despite not being great at self-care, or self-grooming. He stinks. He gets sprayed down by Febreeze daily.
π¦ Genuinely isn't interested in relationships. Perhaps he may grow accustomed to it over time, but currently, I'd say not. This is because of how he saw his Mama being treated by his father. He supposes that relationships naturally look like that, and wants nothing to do with it.
π¦ He's heavily bipolar and very sadistic, as everyone knows. He's very religiously psychotic, as mentioned above, that doesn't help with his general psychotic tendencies. This man is INSANE!! What else could you expect from a serial killer?
π¦ He loves art. Creating art, looking at art, analyzing, all of it. He's the one behind the mutated animals, and the "shrines" across the farm. He makes a bunch of little trinkets, along with collecting them. Has a whole box of little stuff, claims they might be useful in the future.
π¦ When he was younger, he used to host talent shows for his toys and stuffed animals. He did this for a while, when William was too busy shoo'ing him away to play with him. Jackson stopped hosting them after William found out and made fun of him about it.
π¦ Looks a lot like Mama. Has many of her features, making his facial features more softer than Williams. He has her eyes (green), nose, beauty marks, and cheekbones. Unfortunately took more after his Father personality/views wise, and inherited his hair. He has a sun-kissed face and features, and freckles along his face along with some on his neck.
π¦ Has many scars and scared bite marks along his body. When he created his first mutant, it backfired and attacked him almost immediately. That mutant is how he gained a vertical scar on the left side of his face, across his lips. Named it "Barry" then killed it.
π¦ "Harvey" by Alex G screams The Hillwalker Brothers to me. I can't explain why or how, the lyrics remind me of them soo greatly.
π¦ Unlike Jackson, William had a lot more time with Mama. This makes him more knowledgeable about women, and the fact his father was in the wrong. William is not misogynistic (unlike someone), and understands that relationships are meant to be healthy.
π¦ However, this meant William had more time with his father, often meaning he got the bad end of the stick growing up (until mama died). Their father was harsh to William, dismissing his feelings, and not caring about his interests. William does not take part in his interests, especially after having them abandoned year after year. William was raised with the mindset that men should not cry, and should not show weakness or vulnerability. This shows into his adulthood as well, never fully going away.
π¦ When he was a kid, he loved fishing and helping Mama cook. This carries into adulthood, as he is the unofficial official chef of the household (even if they live off of pizza...idk why). He was mean to Jackson at first, because a sibling meant split attention from Mama, but after her death, they grew really close and are now inseparable.
π¦ Despite him and Jackson constantly fighting, he has a major soft spot for Jackson, seeing him as his baby brother despite him being a grown ass man now. This goes along with the fact he raised Jackson for most of Jackie's life. He's still protective over him, some old habits never die. Along with this, he has a soft spot for Daisy (the cow).....for some reason....
π¦ He SPRAYS Jackson with a hose, Febreeze, whatever is closest, whenever he reeks. The ONE thing William forgot to teach Jackson growing up, is the one thing Jackson abuses.....self care...He smells like lavender for ten minutes then is back to reeking.
π¦ After Mama's death, William made Jackson a stuffed animal to cheer him up. It turned out horrible, and quite frankly, looked like one of their mutations that they have today. He ended up not giving it to him, not wanting him to get scared of it γβ½γ.. It's under his bed in a box </3
π¦ His favorite animal is a Pitbull-Pug mixed dog. He used to have one, named Rusty, and he loved him. It had a smooshed face and it was tiny. He got it for his 7th birthday from Mama. Rusty died to Barry, after trying to protect Jackson from the mutant </3..
π¦ He likes soup. Any type, really. He is NOT a picky eater and will eat anything, not afraid of trying new things. Whenever he feels like it, and is free, he will dig out Mama's old cookbook and look through the recipes. He's cooked a good amount of those recipes in the book, which helped a lot in growing his skills, and staying alive. When they were on their own, William got a side job at an Ice Cream shop. Didn't earn much, but it was enough to keep food on the table.
π¦ He was in school longer than Jackson was, meaning he's...decently smarter than him, lol. Tried his best to homeschool him, but could only teach him up to 6th grade knowledge. He bought a homeschooling book with extra money one time, it helped more with teaching them stuff then they thought.
π¦ He has many features that mirror his father, and he hates them. He has a colder facial structure and features. He inherits Mama's hair, but his fathers eye shape, nose, and body shape. He looks like the moon, showing cold features, unlike Jackson. He has stubble, 10000%. He doesn't shave a bunch, considering his profession, but there always seems to be stubble on him..
π¦ Doesn't have many beauty marks, but he does have freckles along his arms and shoulders. He has many scars, like Jackson, and some permanent bruises along his torso and lower legs. Most scars are from previous captives, the mutants, and some are on purpose from when he was a kid.
π¦ Extreme RBF... It's bad. He gives glares and side eyes to people even unintentionally. But it could be intentional, considering the judging comments he makes towards the player in the game. Whenever he goes into town, cashiers get hesitant to strike up a convo with him because of his RBF.
β οΈ Authors Note βΈ Holllyyyyyyy im done. This took way longer than needed (cough cough...a day and a half). I swearrr part two of "what do the creeps rooms look like" is coming soonnnn!! I just got VERY hyperfixated on The Butchery....a lot...... Jackson has my heart, guys, i can't help it, i love him </3.. I hope i did both of these characters justice........especially William.. Also i was VERY unusually nervous posting this for some reason.....i'm usually not nervous posting but oh well.
