I'm Ash, this is a sideblog I started bc I adore soukoku and I have so many rants to make about them and other bsd characters.

Dazai is my favourite character (sorry chuuya stans) but I also love yosano, q, and else (I have a soft spot for Moris trauma children) so a lot of my posts will probably revolve around them and their dynamics with mori (boo! Hiss!).

Ok idek if anyone will find this bc I haven't used this blog in months but.

I'm looking for a fic!

Ship is soukoku (duh) it's a high school au still with abilities but abilities are the result of lab experiments basically, it's chuuyas pov, and it has trans dazai. They still go on missions for mori but the port mafia isn't really mentioned? Chuuya lives with kouyo and later in the fic kyouka, who are both trans and its literally so cute. It's called something like 'a thousand tiny explosions' but I don't know the exact name and whenever I try to search for it nothing comes up.

i wanna go off again about how dazais a character of growth so to say that he should commit suicide as a close to his character arc is just. kinda sad really. i hope he learns to live in the light. i hope he doesnt lose who he is to do it but i hope he does pull himself out fully. itd be funny if he ends up w/ an orphanage to mimic mori but thats just a silly what if not an actual theory. idk i have more thoughts on this but that should go on the other blog when i can think better. but dazai is a character of growth, thats shown over and over and over. its part of his appeal to me. like that dandelion growing through concrete post i made a while back

So? That dosent justify anything. Kyouka didnt deserve to go thru all that, neither did Akutagawa but he still abused kyouka anyways

Can you tell me your favourite bsd headcannon?

Oof, that's a hard one. It's like when someone asks what your favorite song is and you forget every song you've ever heard. I think my favorite is that Dazai was super obsessed with fairytales when he was a kid/teen. With the whole Snow White thing during Dead Apple, and the amount of times he's played the damsel in distress, I like to think he discovered fairytales in his early teens and got super into it, wanting to be the princess that gets rescued by a knight in shining armor because it would feel nice to be so desired by someone that they're willing to risk their life to save him. So he just subconsciously implements into his plans with Chuuya as his prince charming, of course.

Dazai: And then that's the part where I get kidnapped, and you have to rescue me.

Chuuya: Why do you need to get kidnapped for this plan? It's just a simple in and out scouting mission.

Dazai: ...

Chuuya: ???

Dazai: it just needs to happen.
