just finished s1 e5 of good omens and jesus i cannot emphasize this enough this show is one of the single fucking funniest pieces of media of all time. literally who is doing it like them

if i had nickel every time i get a crush on a ficcional tv show character who happens to be an angel rebelling against the orders of Heaven because he wants to stop the biblical apocalypse and is shocked and disappointed at the fact that both heaven AND hell want it to happen, also has a really iconic coat and an interesting relationship with a queer, british-accented (ish) charismatic demon named Crowley, and also the show is widely recognized for having douchebag archangels, a really cool classic black car and an iconic rock soundtrack, i’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.

me and my wife (friend that I joke married in grade 5) are trying to figure out how to split the cult (real cult) in the divorce. she’s currently arguing for 75-25 in her favour but I’m against that and instead suggesting we split 50-50 and she keeps all ownership of the design of our Lord and Savior, as she was the one who initially made it. I’m also taking full custody of the child (my dog) so I do need some sort of steady income to support us both.

Hey so I’m pathetic enough that if I had a wife and she divorced me I’d just give her everything. However I do know deep down that that isn’t the best course of action. Thus, I propose a duel. Fistfight, and if someone brings a knife then you fucking better bring a gun. Everything works for love and cults! Whoever wins gets what they wanted, despite your claim being 100% more reasonable, because you lose all ability to be right the moment you lose a fight.
