Tously was annoyed. No. Beyond annoyed. They were utterly pissed off.
Not only had there letters gone unanswered, they own hunt for answers had turned up unusual things they thought the Earl himself might take interest in. Yet all letters to either butler of brat went unanswered.
Not even with bribes of Amber had made the creature respond.
So they racing up the long drive of the out of city manor. They had hoped to never set foot on this kinda place without a hunt in mind. Not the Phantomhive household but rather any fancy estate.
Yet they pushed the gas of their modify automobile up the road, glaring daggers at building.
Skidding to a stop right at the steps, Amber moved onto their shoulders as they climbed out of the car. A pair of gold rimmed shades across her eyes to protect her from windburn and sun. Her green ribbon replaced with a jade beaded necklace with an amber stone that had trapped a feather in it long ago.
Tously was once more decked out like a scholar. All browns and tans, but touches of gold that gave way to a sense of wealth. Matching shades to the cat sat over their eyes, protecting humans from the fear they could install. In hand one they had the Earl's hat and cane.
Their free hand fisted up and slammed against the front door thrice. Rattling the wood with tempered power but enough control it didn't break. They were gonna find answer, no matter what stood in their way.
At the door, Tously was met with a child's face in gardeners clothes. Strawberry blonde hair clipped out of the face. A straw sun hat sat on the boy's neck.
Bright innocent green eyes blinked at the stranger. Finny's eyes tracked to the cat, then the hat and cane in hand. Those looked familiar. The stranger didn't.
"Yes. Are you lost?" asked Finny.
Tously frowned. "I'm looking for the Earl Phantomhive and his butler."
Finny's eyes darted back to the cat. "For what reason-"
"If you're worried about Amber, the Earl and her have already met and gotten along fine. I have information for them both and my letters have gone ignored... It could be considered life or death, so can we not waste anymore time."
Finny's eyes widened and jumped into action letting the stranger in. "Right, right. This way."
The boy lead the unknown visitor into the house. Taking them right to the Master and Sebastian. If it was life or death, it had to be very important.
He knocked on the room's door. "Master, I have someone here looking for you and Sebastian. He-" he blinked and turned back. Finny didn't get a name for the man.
Tously spoke clearly letting their voice carry through the solid wood. "I brought back your hat and cane Earl Phantomhive..."
Their tone held something of displeasure even when granted entry into the room.
