No, you aren't "behind in life".
But, it's okay to grieve the time you spent surviving. The time spent trying to figure out what was wrong. The time spent healing to become a person again.
It wasn't your fault.
Don't allow others to consume you. If they don't call, go to sleep. If they don't message you, put away your phone & have a good day. If they are distant and refuse to tell you what's wrong, go home and do something fun. You live for yourself first. They are secondary.
When you change and have to get to know yourself all over again. Embrace this new version of you. This version of you is absolutely beautiful, stunning even.

I’m learning to be content with whatever was removed out of my life because I know it was for a purpose.
I like people who get excited about the change of seasons, the sound of the ocean, watching a sunset, the smell of rain and starry nights.
I know sometimes it might feel like it, but what's meant to happen will find its way to you<3
