John Anthony Motherfucking Frusciante
âOne of my favourite shots of John Frusciante from 2004. I think it really captures a special moment of vulnerability and strength. He had been crying in the interview shortly before and you can still see his tears on his t-shirt.â  â Scarlet Page on John Frusciante. - 2016.

â I met the guys through a friend of a friend, and their former drummer had quit. I wasnât too familiar with the Chili Peppers before that, so I joined at the end of 88â and we finished recording Motherâs Milk at the end of 89â, next thing I know Iâm in Spin with a sock.â  â Chad Smith
INTERVIEW: Whatâs your goal in life?
ANTHONY: To play music till the day I die, to be a good friend to all my friends, and to be nice to nature.
JOHN: Goals are the kind of things that tend to throw a man off. Right now I feel like Iâm doing something thatâs really worthwhile for the world, which is playing some of the most ground-breaking music of all time in the Red Hot Chili Peppers. And to me, when you have that sort of beauty in your life, goals arenât necessary.
CHAD: When I finish up my musical career, I would like to join the golf tour, because itâs a very suave sport and you can play as long and as old as you want.
FLEA: To be rocking for as long as James Brown, but not end up in the hoosegow.
