Hey there little guy! What are you doing?
The soul doesn’t seem to be able to speak, but you get the feeling that it’s ... sad? Worried perhaps? The feeling is unclear but it’s not something good, that’s for sure.

There was something off about Lunar.
Virgil sat and stared at her as she spoke, her words trying to sound normal enough, but there was a hint of a deeper thought lacing the corners of her eyes that made him question the truthfulness of her reply. She seemed…
The book in his lap closed with a soft sound of air and paper, his hands automatically moving to set it aside, but his odd colored eyes never left the aforementioned demon. His brows were scrunched together in a concerned, pensive furrow as he tried to come with words that would make sense outside his head.
“You’re not a monster to me.” None of them were, Virgil suddenly realized. Although he could see where Lunar was coming from, considering even the stories of demons of his world, despite being so few and far between and the number of known existing demons left could be counted on his fingers. Yet Lunar and the rest of the demons he knew through her?
They were odd. They had their quirks. Hype still made him nervous and Virgil didn’t know if he could stay in the same room as Viator without becoming an anxious mess, but they weren’t monsters. Not in his eyes.
“Monsters are those who are cruel and wicked and inflict pain onto others for no true good reason.”
Virgil lifted a hand, fingers curling quietly over his heart as his eyes dropped in his own thoughts. “Monsters are people who vilify another and justify it with their own twisted mortality. They hurt because it makes them feel satisfied, the action pleases them. They use trickery and masks to slip in and use you, or use you through others. Sometimes they simply forgo that altogether just to inflict pain directly, but they always dwell in smug appeasement over their own work.”
Did that make any sense? Virgil didn’t know, his eyes lifting to look back at Lunar with a haunted sorrow. But there was conviction there as well, a firm belief that he held onto.
“I haven’t seen a single thing that would make you one, Lunar. People like to vilify what they do not understand or because of the action of a few. Humans are good at that.”
The demoness kept her gaze to the window, ears twitching ever so slightly at the sound of Virgil closing his book. As much as she wanted to, she couldn’t look at him fully and instead only looked at his reflection in the glass. It was a strange thing for her to act like this, she knew it well. But there was some bizarre feeling that if she were to try and look away, she would only be greeted with nothing but empty space and the feeling of an unfamiliar world. She didn’t like that at all.
She was scared.
Still, she listened intently to what the other had to say, trying to find comfort in his words. Yet at the same time, her mind drifted to memories of where she’d harmed others just to prove a point to them or to make herself feel better. Scenes where she’d gotten in close to some only to use them to get to what she needed.
They were things Virgil had not seen, kept only within the confines of the other worlds that the rest of them visited. She was not good, she knew that. Yet at the same time, she was not the worst of them either. Perhaps that’s what she needed to keep in mind? She wasn’t sure but she could understand where he was at least trying to come from and that alone did sooth her just ever so slightly.
“Viator told me that .. demons were different from angels because of our emotions.” She spoke, her voice quiet and a small hint of some kind of deep rooted sorrow hidden in it. Why was she sad? What was it that she couldn’t get to that was making her feel like this?
“We feel them stronger than a human and if it gets too much we act on them without hesitation. Even after all is said and done we still ... we still feel like our outbursts and feelings are just. Like it’s okay to cause damage or it’s okay to act out of selfishness.”
She paused to take in a long breath of air, only to let it out slowly to keep herself composed.
“But even though that makes us similar to humans, we’re not. Not just because of our abilities. We’re demons because we don’t hold ourselves back and we don’t obey the law that we’re supposed to be lower than anything else.”

Lunar had been sitting at the window, staring outside into the growing darkness of nightfall and the rain clouds that were rolling in, hiding behind night’s cover. The book in her own hands having long since been shut and sitting in her lap once she had reached to a segment that had stirred something deep in her. Something so far down that she couldn’t reach it, yet it was bothering her to the point where it seemed to even affect her mood.
She shrugged slightly at Virgil’s response, supposing that he was right. Though a brief flash of something came up in her mind. Just a quick image, of bushes surrounding her, statues of frightened people running, a perpetually dark sky above, and something red and black rushing towards her. Lunar couldn’t make out what it meant but she didn’t have the faintest clue what that kind of location was ... she’d never been there. Then what was this memory?
“Yeah, I’m alright.” She finally answered, almost having forgotten to when she became so lost in her own thoughts, “It was just.. a weird thought I had I supposed. Since ... people like to see demons as some sort of monster, you know..?”
“Found out the hard way that getting choked by a variant of death himself? Not that great of a feeling.”
Also wanted to share these sketches of the lowkey gay feelings that Maestro and Mr. B give off whenever they’re together lmAO

Hype is as quiet as ever in his approach and while he disliked touching people, he could easily pick up when someone needed it. So that's what he did. Gently nudging Mel's head to make himself known before setting himself around her to provide some kind of comforting nest of soft fur for her. "Shit hit the fan that hard, huh kid?"
Once he is comfortably curled around her, the girl sighs, resting her head against the side of his body. This didn’t feel real. After all, Gaster always seemed to come back from his dilemmas, from his failings. What if this time was different?
“…It’s… Yeah.”
The demon nodded once as he pulled his tail close enough to cover her a bit like some sort of makeshift blanket. Even his usually bright on dark coloration shifted into something more subtle. He wasn’t here to push her when she was obviously already down. Hype knew the feeling of loss and what he was picking up from her felt dangerously similar to what he felt so long ago after making his own stupid mistake.
“Feel like venting about it or something?” He asked, his voice at an unfamiliar low volume and surprisingly calm.
“Because, I’ll be honest, I know jack shit of what’s going on. All I can pick up on is the emotions you’re sending out and they’re.. fuck I don’t know.. concerning?”

“Well, i’ll be real with you lunar, I have no genuine clue of how i got here, in this certain area, Last thing i remember was looking through my phone…Then the battery wigged out on me, Like-a whole zapy zap thing, i guess it konked me out because when i came to, i was about…” He then proceeds to look around, “Well i cant remember the direction, but i have been wandering for quite a bit, so if you have anyway for me to not spend the rest of eternity counting trees, and leaves… and more trees, That would be great… ” He lets out a long sigh after all of that.
Her ears perked up as she listened and nodded in understanding, finally getting an idea of what might have happened.
“Ah, Okay, I think you got stuck within some of our precautions set up.” She informed while reaching into her hoodie pocket to pull out her own phone. Sending a few quick messages to someone before putting it back away.
“There’s a town that’s a fifteen minute walk away but uh.. I think we’re in the wrong direction from it?”
She glanced back behind her, seeming unsure of herself. Sense of direction was sometimes not her forte if she’d never been in the area long enough.
“Look um.. come with me for a bit and I’ll get you out of here alright? Just.. be careful when we get to the train. I can sort things out when we’re there, I promise.”

stage-of-ariesheim:
He stood there near dumbfounded that there was in fact someone, their entrance didn’t make it any more less confusing for him as well, but he cleared his throat before speaking, as he kept his hands in his pockets. “Uh… I wont lie i didn’t expect a response…f-from anyone, usually when i say that it’s met with pure silence, or a rat… So uh, Hey there, whomever you are.” He was a bit unsure about a new face, but felt slightly calmer knowing he wasn’t alone.
She shrugged with a sheepish laugh, not really sure how to properly respond to someone who reacted the way he had. The company she usually had were aware of what she could do so they weren’t always surprised. Not that she was complaining, it was refreshing to have a difference in exchanges.
“Well I can certainly confirm that I’m not a rat of any sort. Unless I’ve been living some elaborate lie? A-Anyways! Yeah, hello, I’m Lunar. Who are you and what are you doing wandering around here if I might add?”
Introductions were always important, she knew that but she was also curious as to what he was up to. Considering with the train not being too far away, she’d hoped there already weren’t rumors about it floating around again.
scientificentropy:
Before he even knew what happened, he found himself back on his feet. That, of course, did nothing but make him even more uncomfortable. This…creature…demon…whatever the other was…was being far too nice for his liking. After all, who is this polite when some stranger ends up in their house?
“R-right…um…thanks. S-sorry.” Poor thing seemed too nervous to even form a complete thought. “J-just gonna…open up another portal and I’ll be gone…”
He opened up his vest and fumbled around in one of the inner pockets. The pocket itself was sort of a mini dimension, or hammerspace, where Tony kept things like his portal gun and…where the fuck was his portal gun? Did he accidentally leave it on his table or something? Shit.
He looked at the other nervously, taking his hand out of his pocket. “I uh..don’t suppose you can make portals, can you? I apparently…uh…left portal device behind…”
As he said this, he took a few steps back. As much as he was trying not to show fear, it definitely wasn’t working.
The poor guy was uncomfortable, it was easy for Maestro to see without even needing to pick up on the emotion. The reason as to why was unclear. Had he never encountered a demon before? They all weren’t complete psychopathic murderers, or cold blooded. Well, some literally were but his thoughts were getting off track.
There was something wrong here and he needed to be careful.
Maestro would only nod to the visitor’s words and watch him as he fumbled around. Possibly looking for whatever it was that opened the portal he’d made in the first place, he’d assumed. Only to have it confirmed when asked if he could provide a way back for him.
“Ah.. I can but certain ones are limited,” He confessed, rubbing at the back of his head with a sheepish laugh. “If it’s a portal out of here well, I’m afraid I had already used my one a day. But don’t fret! I know a friend who I can call and he’ll get you on your way back!”
He gestured for him to follow as he continued his initial path out of the living room, explaining his intention so as to not fill his guest with even more worry.
“Come, come, I’ll make you some tea while I call him, or would you prefer coffee? I don’t exactly drink it much myself but I do keep some in stock for guests that do!”

Confused, Alone, but Luckily never afraid, these are the things that made dear atomsk who he was as he pulled his scarf up over his mouth a bit as he wandered aimlessly wherever he was, he could tell one thing, something felt just slightly off for him. Letting out a disgruntle sigh, he decides to call out to see if anyone responds. “Hello?, Anyone out here? Yes? no?….Maybe?” @soulsofhellfire
There’s a beat of silence as the other’s voice echoes into what seemed like empty space. That is, until a small sigh breaks it and the shadows waver like a pool of water that had been disturbed, Allowing a form to pull itself up from it before settling back to it’s original state.
Lunar had been waiting for him to pass by before she came out of hiding, but so much for that.
“Uh... hi, yeah I’m here?”
She said ‘I saw you in October’ He said ‘You’re not r e a l I know it’s o v e r ‘
demonicdiligence:
“I am absolutely interested, let’s go there right now!”
A bad idea for his abs and waistline, sure, but the Demon was having trouble sleeping. Some food and time with Lunar was sure to fix that.
“Where to, babe?”
“Don’t need to tell me twice!”
Bad ideas were always a given with her sometimes. Maybe Hype was rubbing off a little bit on her without realizing. Still, she’s also always up for a donut, weight be damned.
Letting Aamon go, she takes ahold of his hand and tugs him to the door to lead the way.
“It’s actually not too far! Like, two streets down on the left if I remember correctly? There’s a cute clothing boutique across from it, I know that for sure.”
