So I’ve been reading the first Harry Potter book because we got Amazon unlimited during prime day (99 cents for three months) and I told myself I would read what I wanted next if I got through this book. I’m looking at my options now and m a n am I disappointed in my options. Guess I’m back to buying my books. I read in Spanish so it isn’t like I can get them from the library either. At least my collection will start growing I guess.

Emori couldn’t help but smirk as she went on collecting fire wood. “It’s true. Maybe you don’t see it, but the majority do. The word they use to describe me literally translates to freak. There’s no use in trying to beat around the bush.” She shrugged a little bit as she carried some wood over, not able to help but smile. “I’m glad you’re into it, because I have a lot more of it.” She said only half joking as she set the firewood next to the fire since it wasn’t strong enough just yet. 

He smiled and haphazardly prodded at the flames with a stick, seeming to smother it in the process.     “Oh ops… ok standing back.” He says lifting his hands away from it like he had been caught red-handed. He grinned looking over to her.      “Well they’re all idiots… believe me.” he says with a wink and a grin. He would very much have liked to close the distance between them and risk stealing a kiss, but he couldn’t bring himself to muster the courage. Instead his eyes just lingered on her smile, and his lower lip was pulled through his teeth.      “Think they’ll be much longer?”

Emori looked back at him, not able to help but smirk. “Such bravery to stick up to the entire world. Such idioticy, but such bravery,” She teased him before looking over at her brother and Thelonius Jaha, sighing. Part of her thought “Well, they better be” but another part of her wanted to gain her composure- if she had any, though she didn’t feel like she did. “Depends on what they’re even doing.” She finally answered, shaking her head with a sigh. “My brother can work hours on end if he wants to. If the task is difficult enough.” She said before looking over. “What’s Jaha like?”

Murphy looked over in the direction Jaha and Emori’s brother had gone.      “I can’t say I blame him…” He mused with a serious tone, before turning back to the girl.      “You know I don’t like you calling yourself that… you’re not a freak, you’re a bad ass.” He says moving to put his finger under her chin and lift it so she was looking at him, seeing how serious he was.       “And the fact you haven’t been tired out yet, only proves that more.” He says very matter-of-factly before returning to busying himself trying to build a fire. He occasionally looked over at the girl and smiled, she was gorgeous… and courageous… and just perfect.
