Great intro to the new joint initiative from ACE and BBC inviting artists to consider new ways of exploring and developing broadcast media beyond the current conventions.

A little mini-doc about Henriette and Miller, two amazing athletes from Vanuatu who we followed during their time spent acclimatising in the tropics of Cheshire.
Blackpool
Just to let you know we are currently resident at the Hub in Salford, playing around with Video and Audio as part of our ongoing Blackpool project. Tomorrow (Wednesday 10th of November) it is an open workshop where we're trying out a few ideas and generally having a play, so feel free to pop down any time from 12 onwards. Once it gets dark it should be more fun as the projectors come to life. Formal blurb below...
Salford based Soup Collective are currently developing a project centred on Blackpool. Looking at creating a visual response to this unique seaside town and it's heritage, they have been investigating the characters, buildings and machines that make it what it is. Nearing the end of their research period, they are moving to The Hub for a week long residency, looking at ways to realise their findings
The culmination of this will be on Wednesday 10th of November when they are inviting some friends, performers and musicians to come down for the day and try out a few ideas that will develop into film and audio-visual work at a later date.
Feel free to pop in and have a look as well as contribute any Blackpool stories and memories you have on one of the postcards dotted around the place. Doors are open from 12pm and things will be going on until around 8pm.
A huge thank you to Curro and Raquel and friends for making this vid so enjoyable to make!
