I accidentally made Another art discovery so I made a really basic rundown of how I made the jelly lighting from before (semi tutorial here) look less crystalline and more frosty like a popsicle

Forgot to mention the brush pack I’m using for this is called Dawner’s Brush Pack Vol. 1 for procreate

Running around in circles bc I accidentally discovered how to draw really convincing jelly / candy / crystal etc lighting in literally just 7 steps

Only if u want orange like this tho. Haven’t tested other colors yet lol

If you ever feel like practicing coloring/rendering but don’t have the energy to draw something from scratch, I HIGHLY recommend finding free coloring pages online to practice with. For an extra challenge grab characters you’ve never seen before so you’re forced to come up with your own palettes like I did here (very fun!!). Gives ya good practice & is really good for getting through art block without getting hung up on sketches & lineart.

For example these are mine from last year, and I still love how they turned out!
