Hello all, this is being written on behalf of all of us. We’ve all discussed this kind of situation over and over again. And yes this is never an easy thing to say, we don’t know what went wrong or when it did. Maybe it was us, maybe it was the dash, but our creativity has been lacking very badly. Specifically in South Haven and RPing. We want only the best for our RPG but recently it has been insanely and severely tough. Being admins of South Haven has felt like a chore and a job more than it should be a fun time for us to rp with all of you guys. But it hasn’t happened, and we don’t know how to fix it. Sometimes between the three of us we have to ask each other in our group chat “alright which one of us is going to hop online and do things for the main and the dash” we should not be asking these things to each other. It’s gotten very tiring and a big struggle, as people may know if you have been an admin before.
We however by no means are blaming anyone. And it’s breaking all of our hearts to write this. But because of these reasons we have decided to put South Haven under an infinite hiatus. This means that it is only a goodbye for now, not forever. We may come back with fresh ideas, muse and courage to be admins and apart of South Haven again in the near future. But this time we just have to think of ourselves, and it’s absolutely awful to think of it like this. We have been juggling around this horribly hard thought and awful decision for a couple of weeks now. And when it gets to that point, we know we can’t fight a battle that we are going to lose. When we have put this RPG in front of our real life, it becomes a problem. And we are no saints when it’s come to that, as we have been doing this a lot recently. No person should ever have to put rpg life over real life, but we have been. And it’s not okay anymore.
We want to thank each and every one of you because, god we love you all so damn much. South Haven wouldn’t have been South Haven without the lot of you. We had an amazing run for 5 months nearly 6 and we’re proud of everything we’ve accomplished here and everything we’ll do in the future. We love you all immensely, and thank you for this wonderful journey as your friend and admins. We will be posting our main accounts, discords, etc in the OOC chat as we would love to stay in contact with you guys (that is, if you still want!). This is a roleplaying experience we will never. EVER forget. And this is not goodbye, it’s just a bye for now. Thank you for being apart of our family.
