I don’t think warm weather or snow are considered extreme. I mean, it’s not like I want there to be a blizzard or anything. It’s just annoying having to wake up for school when it’s dark out, because you wanna sleep all day, but you have to go out and get wet on your way to the car. Not fun, if you ask me.

I’m not making fun of you, I just really don’t get it. I spend at least four hours on the computer every day, and then a few on my phone, and then I use the iPad when I’m allowed, so I don’t really understand how you don’t want to do those things. I mean, television is full of chances to escape reality — you have Game of Thrones, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Teen Wolf, and those are just the live-action shows I watch regularly. And then there’s live-blogging and live-tweeting, and gif sets, and Buzzfeed articles about the best gifs, and the worst quotes, and metaphors you didn’t even think mattered, but really do…I don’t know how you would want to live without all that.
Oh, unless you mean the Gandhi thing, no, I think Gandhi was a cool dude, but I don’t really get nightblogging posts, except when I do, and then I reblog them, and they get a lot of likes usually.

The library? I don’t think I’ve gone inside the library in maybe five years. I don’t even borrow books anymore, I just buy them on Amazon and sell them on eBay. Everyone has time for the internet, it’s the internet, it’s full of games and reading and movies and livestreams, and social media? Wasting time. Oh. Those are my lifelines you’re dismissing.

Look, I was trying to justify this for myself, so I wouldn't go around wallowing in self-pity, y'know? I'm making the best of a situation and I really didn't mean for it sound dismissive. Different people have different ways of handling things, right...?
I'll read, I'll go outside, find some event in the news and check it out, talk to strangers, take a walk if I'm having a rough day, take a road trip--I don't know. Ask your parents what they did.
You don’t have cable? Who doesn’t have cable? I thought cable was pretty much standard now, and the internet. Tell me you at least have the internet, how else do you stay socially relevant, or mock the people who are? I mean, Tumblr, Twitter, laughing at the stupid people on Facebook? Do you have a facebook? Are you for real? A gift of a movie ticket? How do you? I don’t? What?
No, uh, I go to the library... I never made a Facebook and I probably never will--especially now...? Other than YouTube and informational sites, I just don't have time for the Internet. I don't even have a decent phone--it's a cracked iPhone 3 that I got from my dad from thrift store, I reckon. Not meaning to seem pretentious--and sorry if I do--but I would rather not waste time on a computer when I could've done something outside. I mean, it doesn't even matter, if you don't have money. I can't even sit still that long, so why bother?
Do you live your life in a black hole? Because otherwise I’m sure you watch television or other movies, and have probably seen more than one episode or a sequel or two in your time, so really that’s just bullshit.
Uh, I'm sorry for offending you, but have you ever given the thought that not everybody has cable? It's just not something my parents are willing to spend money on--yeah, I've gone to the movies, but it's a gift. Maybe once a year. I'm sorry.

You never made time. If you had, you’d know how amazing the entire Marvel universe really is. Pepper and Bruce are just examples, there’s Jean Grey and Red Skull and Darkhawk. How do you live with yourself? No, there’s no way an action movie bores you, maybe you’re just one of those girls expecting a sappy romance. I bet you’d like Spider-Man.

How can you have never seen the Avengers? Or Iron Man? Don’t you know how amazing Tony Stark is? I can excuse the comic books because we can’t all have time to dedicate our lives to the gold that is the Marvel universe, but you mean to tell me that you are pleasantly okay with not knowing about the miracle of Pepper Potts or Bruce Banner’s inability to let Tony have control over anything, or vice versa depending on who you ask?

I just never had time, or more-so, just had no interest. Action films have this odd effect that just leaves me... bored. Kinda ironic, don't you think?
I dressed up as Tony Stark, and people kept asking why my chest was glowing. I feel sorry for the population of Lakeview.
