The Horrors at 23 Cranley Gardens:
Crime scene photographs taken inside the home of Scottish serial killer/necrophiliac Dennis Andrew Nilsen, also known as the “Muswell Hill Murderer” and the “Kindly Killer” to the public. Nilsen killed at least 12-15 young men and boys in a sequence of murders that occurred between 1978 and 1983 in London, England. His M.O. was targeting students or homeless men whom he picked up from pubs and brought over to his home. Nilsen murdered by strangulation and drowning his victims to death, and disposed of the bodies by butchering and burying many of them in a bonfire.
Nilsen continued the murders after eventually moving to an upstairs home, though he found it quite laborious to dispose the remains of his victims. As a solution, he had suitcases full of human organs stored in his closet and plastic bags of human remains stored under the floorboards, and Nilsen’s neighbors began to notice the awful stench creeping around inside the property.
Nilsen was finally arrested by police due to his attempt of flushing the remains of his victims down the toilet, which resulted in a sewerage block, and drain inspectors discovering the human remains after being called to handle the problem. When his house was searched, police discovered three decapitated heads in a cupboard, the hidden human organs and remains, and they also found a number of bodies at Nilsen’s former residence.

SELF-KNOWLEDGE QUESTIONNAIRE
AGGRESSION
One part of your character is anger in all its forms: frustration, outrage – and when anger is suppressed – bitterness, grumpiness, and bodily aches. Fundamentally, frustration comes from hope: you get upset because you expect your life will be more than a valley of tears. One way to deny aggression is to direct it inwards, as self-criticism. But you’re at your best when you acknowledge anger, and act it out clearly and in a focused way, with honour.
INDEPENDENCE
You don’t set out to be different for its own sake; you are more easily guided by what interests and moves you. You are more concerned about what is right for you than about the pressure to fit in. In sex you are more aware than others of impulses which are not entirely conventional. You know the value of selective irresponsibility, of forgetting occasionally about being ‘good’.
SHYNESS
Part of you is gripped by the fear that you’ll launch into something and completely mess it up. The upside of this is wise caution: people are indeed often too rash, whereas you know, by instinct, that holding back can save you. Probably, you feel shame and self-disgust a bit too much. But when you do feel in your element, you act with a wisdom and sensitivity never found in people with thicker skins.
