Because This Is My First Life

Last month, I just finished this drama despite of being bombarded with my workload.*LOL* At first, I decided not to start watching dramas that haven’t finish yet because it gives me an unsatisfactory clip hanging and impatiently waiting for the next episode which will come up on the next week schedule. BUT, this drama became an exemption, from watching their previews I got hooked and I can’t control myself patiently waiting for the next episode. HAHAHA 

And now, I will tell you why I can’t get hold myself on watching this drama:

THE CONCEPT OF THE DRAMA IS VERY REALISTIC

Let’s put some rest to the fantasy themes and over flowered cliche stories. This drama tackles about the current issue where most of us *especially on their early 30′s*. Being on thirty, there are so much things that you must have to consider. Stable career, to own a house and getting married. It has been our norm that going on 30 is a very crucial part on our lives, no more teenage years, no more building up our career and no more twee-tums love story. But for some people, being 30 is just the beginning of their own life, they begin to realize what’s missing and what’s there to look forward for the rest of their lives. They begin to make decisions just for themselves and not for other people’s preference. This is how the story evolves to the main character, Yoon Ji-ho, who quit her job and packed up her bags away from her family and decided to have her own life independently. But that’s not what happened, due to the reality that owning a house in South Korea is a very big issue.

2. THE CHARACTERS DEPICTS DIFFERENT VIEWS ON LIFE

Kudos to the writers who wrote this epic and realistic love story. The story not only focused on its main characters but also, to the people around them. The different characters reflect on how society sees love, career and marriage nowadays. Let me introduce you each characters and their point of view:

This is Nam Se Hee, 38 years old. He led a very boring life. But for him, he’s having a happy life at the moment,watching a soccer game and drinking beer along with his cat. He is a house-poor and he is a picky perfectionist and very practical person. He sees his job as his source of income to pay off his mortgage loan and having a housemate as an additional income. He didn’t believe in love, because according to him, to be in love once is enough for a lifetime.He’s a brokenhearted guy who also didn’t believe in marriage, he believed it’s just an agreement for the two persons who met up their needs on each other, there’s no love involved.

This is Yoon Ji-Ho, 30 years old. Single since birth. She was an assistant scriptwriter on some dramas, who later quit her job for 10 years because of mistreatment. She supports her family and bought a house in Seoul but her brother got his girlfriend pregnant which led her move out and gave the house to his brother despite she’s the one who bought it. Having no job and no house to sleep in, she met  Nam Se Hee. They both agreed to marry each other just to fill up their needs. Se Hee, who is pressured by her mother to get married also needs a housemate, and Yoon Ji-Ho, who needs a house to stay and sleep with, are such a perfect combination to solve their problems. She value her career as her passion but because of cruel reality, she gave up her dream and set aside her career. She believes in love as a NBSB, she fantasies love like what she writes on the scripts. She also believes in marriage and giving it to the person she loves, BUT with her current situation,her point of view became just like Nam Se Hee, just a give and take.

This is Woo Su-ji, 30 years old, one of the two best friends of Ji Hoo. She was the coolest among the three of them. She has a stable but shitty job, who always sexually harassing her. She got the brains, height and also boobs. Though she has the nasty attitude, she has a warm heart when it comes to her friends. She dreams to be a CEO on her own business but got stuck up in a shitty corporate job, where everyone thinks that it’s a dream job and pays you a lot. It’s true that even if they pay you a lot, it doesn’t mean they can treat you like a shit. She doesn’t believe in love, she’s a liberated woman and she sleeps with anyone with no strings attached. She don’t want to get married, because that means, she can’t support her sick mother and also she got a trauma from her father who left them.

This is Ma Sang Goo, 38 years old. CEO of the company Se Hee worked in. He is slightly dumb person but also has a warm heart. He wanted to settle down and get his own family but he isn’t lucky on women. Not until he met Su-ji, whom he one-night stand once and they met again as a common friend of Se Hee and Ji-ho.

And this is Yang Ho-rang, 30 years old. She is bubbly and energetic person. Among these three girls I’ve mentioned, she was the only one who got luck in romance. Now, this is a loud shout out to those have a long-term relationship out there! They have been dating for 7 years with her boyfriend and already living on the same room. She’s dreaming about getting married since in her childhood years, she’s a big fan of wedding ceremonies and ready to start her own family.

And lastly, Sim Won-seok, 28 years old. He is Yang Ho-rang’s boyfriend for 7 years. Despite of a product of good university in Seoul, he’s struggling on sustaining his own business and end up with an unstable source of income. He was still an immature boy and not ready for marriage. They have an apposite view of marriage and family of Ho-rang but all in all, they stood for each other all the time.

3. IT’S ALL ABOUT THE CHEMISTRY

OVERFLOWING CHEMISTRY! <3

I love how the producers got these two on the main roles. They really has a place on heart (well, Dukseon and Taek of Reply 1988 are still my #1). They shared a really good chemistry. The story was too cute for my weak heart~  

4. THE LINES AND METAPHORS

This is what I like for a certain drama, on how about the writer creates a good quote about real life. There are so many lines that will pierced in to your heart. Some are encouragement but mostly are the lines that will really hurt you. The writer uses a metaphor on how Ji-hoo looked at other people especially the “Room 19″. The lines reflects and will surely relatable to you.

5. VALUES THE FRIENDSHIP 

These three girls are inseparable. You can really tell that their friendship is genuine. You will miss your friendship out there.

6. IT HAS A MWEOTHHYY CAT~

And lastly, let’s take a moment of appreciation on this kitty. It’s so adorable and this is the reason why I love cats now!

My Wife's Having An Affair This Weekend

If you want a slice-of-life kind of drama, this will be perfect! Especially to those married couple and also in a relationship and it will be worth watching for those singles out there *like me.lol*

At first glance, I thought this would be a heavy drama since it tackles about marriage life and divorce issues. But, the creators of this drama really did a good job, because aside from getting lessons from it, they also provide a very entertaining portrayal of each characters. On these 12-episodes, I never found myself being bored instead, I cried a lot of tears not only because of hurt but also of laughing. Actually, this drama helped the people to realize what really matters, and this is what I loved on this drama.

Instead of slaps, throwing of money, splashing of water, hair-grabbing and other cliche revenge scenes, the drama focused on the real situations, to the deep root of the problem among having an affairs. So, calm down because there is no such a scene on this drama.

While watching this drama, I am really intrigued on why would the wife have an affair? It is really interesting to talk about a story that the world seldomly talked about. And here’s my point of view after watching this drama:

 1. Not all men are unfaithful and not all women are faithful.  

     Since our topic is about relationship, let’s remove the society’s culture on putting all the blame to the men when everything didn’t work. This man live all of his days devoted to his family and when his wife’s having an affair, the society put all the blame on him for not being a good husband and dad and he was even embarrased to talk to his friends about his situation. People thinks, when the man cheats, he’s an irresponsible man and when the woman cheats, it’s because he was not a good man.Men are humans too, being a woman doesn’t make you a less human. People must be aware about gender-equality sensitivity, where man and woman are treated equally.

2. Having an affair will never be a solution to a crappy marriage.

    Some people really views having an affair is like having a small window to be open when something didn’t work or to sustain your emotional and mostly, sexual needs. When a problem arises, talk to your partner. When you feel burdened by your responsibilities, talk to your partner. When you feel less attractive, talk to your partner. It’s the easiest and only way to solve your problem. Relationships will be stronger when the communication is strong. It is really important to communicate on each other. Some people made communication taken for granted. Learn when to listen and when to talk. With that, couple will learn to understand each other and that would make the relationship lasts.

3. Think over again and again before making a decision.

    The regrets will always be on the aftermath. People nowadays are always took the quickest and what they think are the easiest way in making a decision. We are indulge on the things that the world offers, our convenience. Many people make the divorce as a weapon to protect yourself from a toxic marriage life, which is true in some cases but what happens now, many people having a divorce because they had different personalities and the relationship doesn’t grow anymore. This drama shows us that having a divorce must be done after a long process of counseling and of course, talking and understanding each other taking out all the pride without pointing out the flaws of each other and enumerating who made the mistakes in the relationship. Divorce is too mainstream nowadays and people easily gives up when they find inconvenience and when they feel that they deserve better, which is not in some cases. Holding on and accepting each others flaws is always a choice that you can make everyday when you are in marriage life.The right thing you can do is communicate each other and don’t make rush decisions that can break your promise to God in front of the altar that you will love each other through better or worse. Till death do us apart. Not, Till Divorce do us apart.

4. Keeping your marriage forever is always a choice to make every day.

    People getting married because they love each other. But the real purpose of marrying the people you love is you accept the challenge to choose him or her every single day. Accept the flaws, the mistakes, the past and even the future. Keeping the marriage forever is a hard task to do, especially now that having an affairs are very common. You will choose to love and trust despite the negativity comes at your life. Choosing forever whenever the situation is too much to handle.  It’s so hard to risk your family to be broken because of giving up the marriage. Remember, cheating is a choice and every single day, you have to choose love and acceptance for the family you made.

5. Do not be afraid.

     If you’re hurt and lost all of your purpose in life, don’t be discourage too easily. Life is like a rollercoaster ride, even though you feel safe and secure by putting your seatbelts on, ypu cannot escape the terror of being on an upside down from the top and having a relief when it gets back to the own. Struggles and hardship will always be on our way so don’t afraid. The characters really had a different stories to be learned. It taught us how to be patient at all times and don’t be afraid to take a risk over and over again. Live life with no regrets.

Be nice to everyone because every one has their own pain and struggles. P.S. I'm so disappointed to the love story. I'm having a second-lead syndrome 😭😭😭😭😭

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo

The most underrated kdrama of 2016!

Well, I guess it's really unfortunate to share their timeslot to the Legend of the Blue Sea *which was more popular* 😔😔😔😔

I'm also guilty for having no interest of watching this drama at first but thanks to social media and people who advertised this awesome-daebak drama and I just recently finish this drama, so I guess, I'm a Nam Joo-Hyuk & Lee Sung-Kyung shipper! How could I forget this two who shared great chemistry on screen *And I'm hoping they're really dating in real life * 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Lee Sung-Kyung a.k.a. Kim Bok-Joo, really portrayed the character well. It really suits her acting like don't have a care about her appearance, but It's just a proof that anything she wears looks fancy on her. Take this for an example:

She's definitely girl crush since I saw her on the Cheese in the Trap where she played as Baek Inha. Her looks is undeniably make you swoon. She effortlessly played Kim Bok-Joo in this drama, maybe because her personality was similar to her role and also maybe because she's a really good actress. 👏👏👏👏

Nam Joo-Hyuk a.k.a. Jung Joon-Hyung, a very impressive actor. Remember those scenes when he felt being abandoned by her mother? I cried a river on that scene 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭. And by the way, I never expect this guy to be an awesome like this *insert his abs oh, acting i mean* when I first saw him on the Cheese in the Trap, yes, he was there too! He played one of Seol's friend, Eun-tak. He's also on the Scarlet Ryeo, where he played 13th or 14th? prince, sorry I haven't seen Scarlet Ryeo. 😔😔😔😔 Ughh... I still remember his aegyo on this drama, the way he treats chubs will surely make your heart melt. And this drama taught you how a perfect boyfriend would be like and that Joon-hyung.🐷🐷🐷

I will give three reasons why I really love this drama:

First, the great chemistry of Nam Joo-hyuk and Lee Sung-Kyung a.k.a. swag couple. This is the only drama where I want to ship the main characters into real life. When I finished watching this drama, I can't help myself stalking these two beautiful creatures. How can I not ship this couple so hard when I am easily convinced that these two can possibly become a real couple. 😍😍😍 They would be the perfect couple then. Tall, pretty faces and amazing personality! They already have a photoshoot together way back 2015, i guess. ughhhhhhh~~~

Second, the storyline is simple. A refreshing young love story that everyone can relate to. Less conflict. Without any cliche twist of the story. The story depicts everyone's life, their dreams, hopes, struggles, friendships,love and family. It's good drama to unclear your mind. I think one of the best korean drama of all time *next to Reply 1988* 

And lastly, a full-package drama. Amazing storyline, daebak casts and a lot of lessons to be learned on this drama. It has also a good Official Sound Tracks to be listen to. You shouldn't miss this drama! 👍👍👍👍👍👍

A funny kdrama: Rooftop Prince

This was the funniest drama I’ve ever seen (It has a worth watching 20 episodes!)  I can’t help laughing from the start up to the end though, some episodes, especially the last one made me really cry. I love how Park Yoo-chun leads the act. He was a good actor, actually I only recognize him as an actor with this drama. I have watched his two dramas already (Sungkyunwan Scandal and Miss Ripley) but, this one gave him a break. And also because of this drama, I found him attractive…hahaha! (My Bias in DBSK is Jaejoong.. ;))

Han Jimin was also a good actress, she was a little bit have a similarity with Super Junior’s Lee Donghae (or I am the only one thinking of this?XXD). I am so touched with their team-up, I love the Jimin-Yoochun Couple! <3

how can I forget the three handsome subordinates of the Crown Prince?  Lee Minho, the scholar who is very intelligent, he’s like a detective! He easily memorizes anything!  Jung Suk-won, the Crown Prince’s Personal Bodyguard, he was the strong one, he can slice you with his own sword..haha.. I remember how he sliced the meat..XXD  and Choi Woo-shik, the Palace Eunuch, he’s so cute!! He helped a lot in making this drama funnier!

The story was about a Joseon Prince and his subordinates’ time travels in the future time. It’s funny how these four people act like an idiot.  They first appeared in Park-ha’s house, it was called “Rooftop Prince” because they lived in Park-ha’s house which is in the rooftop. When you got to watch this drama, don’t try to skip the Episode 3, the funniest scene ever! I will try not to spoil the drama, hahaha…

Who’s in the side of Tae-mu and Se-na there? Anyone? Ha! They are the ones who made the viewers boil their blood!! I want to clench my fist on them! Grrrrrrrr!! Well, snap out the role of these two, they really made an effective effect of being a wicked person. I like the way Tae-mu and Se-na lies. Especially, that scene when Tae-mu recorded a video about Tae-yong being in coma to make the Board of Trustees makes him take replace the position of Tae-yong. But, he failed to do it, because Lee Gak is smart enough to disguise as Tae-yong! (That was the time, I said to myself, Park Yoochun was really a good actor! Daebak!)

The love story of Park-ha and Tae-yong (who is also played by Yoo-chun, but this character remained missing and was on a coma, he appeared in the last 3 episodes), even though, Lee Gak (the Crown Prince) was the one who’s in the entire drama and their love story was a failed one in the past because the Crown Prince was fool to believe in another girl.  It made me think that, whatever may happen, if you are destined to be with that person, whenever, wherever you are, you will meet that person. It was the life after death. So if we are going to promise the one that we love, we must not say, “I will love you, Till Death Do Us Part” instead, we must say, “I will love you, Till Life after Death”. Whoa! I was deeply touched with this drama! TTwTT

Favorite OST:

Hurt by Ali, such a sad song… this song reminds me of how the Crown Prince, Lee Gak, waiting for a justice for his wife, but, it only made him a fool when he found out that his wife (Se-Na in the past),  betrayed him and she killed her sister (Which is, Park-Ha in the past).

Highly Recommended Korean Sitcom: Unstoppable High Kick! And Unstoppable High Kick! 2: Through the Roof

Well, last semester break, all I got was watching these two Korean sitcoms. I spent a week to finish the 167 episode of the season one and almost a week in second season with 124 episodes. But it’s all worth it! Let’s tackle first the season one…

Starting from the very first episode, I can’t help but laughing and laughing!! XXD

Jung ill-woo was very handsome in this drama! Not like as handsome with his current drama(49 Days, My Fair Lady, Illjimae and Flower Boy Ramyun Shop), for me, he’s more handsome here, because he perfectly played the innocent-slash-rebellious teenager. He’s soooooo cute ever!!

                                        Kim Hye-sung it’s the first time watching him. I heard his movie Jenny and Juno was great. I always pity him, hahaha…. He’s the older brother of Jung Ill-wo (Lee Yunho) here. He’s very short compared to his dongsaeng. He’s smart kid while Yunho is somewhat slow learner..hahaha.

Meet the pseudo family members!

Kim Bum was also here, he’s the bestfriend of Kim Hye-sung (Lee Minho). They really like a newly wed couple.XD

Park Min-young played as the girlfriend of Kim Hye-sung. She’s the ultimate rival of Kim Bum here. hahaha. But, don’t underestimate her! Her father worked as a spy and she also a spy. She acted like a dumb to hide her identity. Wow!

The only thing that kept me going to finish this drama and got addicted to it was the story itself. I love the Yunho and Miss Seo couple!!!! I really love them! I was nearly believe that Miss Seo and Teacher Lee will be together, and I feel pity with Yunho. You know that feeling… when Yunho said as he saw a falling star was… “I wish that I’ll be 10 years older when I wake up tomorrow morning…” OUCH! But, I was relieved that Yunho and Miss Seo end up together, though it has not literally show in the last episode,

I am very thankful to this drama I learned a lot! And through this drama, it gave way to the K-stars in spotlight including Jung Ill-woo who really change after this drama and Park Min-young and also Kim Bum.

no one will forget this:HAHAHA!

                Now, we will say a thing to the second season, Unstoppable High Kick! 2: Through the Roof.

Well, it’s not that it’s not a funny drama but, I was more appreciating the first one. The story was about Shin Se-kyung and Shin Ae came from a mountain. Due to their father, who was hiding to earn money. They came to Seoul and met the Lee Sun-Jae family (Same character Lee Sun-Jae in the part one) .

Yoon Shi-yoon was also here, he’s a high school student and fell in love with Shin Se-kyung.

But, Shin Se-Kyung fell in love also with Choi Daniel, uncle of Yoon Shi-yoon.

                                 BUT! Choi Daniel was the boyfriend of  Hwang Jung-Eum, who was the tutor of Yoon Shi-yoon and friend of Shin Se-kyung.

*Sigh*

BUT!!!!! I hate the ending!! It leaves me a question mark on my head. It seems like a it’s not finish. It has a sad ending not like the season one which has a happy ending. It was a mute and shocking ending… really! I can hold my tears back. Psh! Molla!!!!! Like now, I can feel the creepy ending !! it’s so tragic! SO TRAGIC!

“I wish time would stop for a moment…”

this was the last word of Shin Se-kyung to Choi Daniel, after that their car was accidentally crashed.

Hope the Season Three will not have an ending like this.

10 Reasons Why You Should Watch "Reply 1988/Answer Me 1988"

First thing first, I would like to say how much this drama really touched my soul and got my whole life affected with it's story. I must say, this is the most and the bestest among the bests korean drama I've watched as of now. (Though, I finished this drama last July, can't moved on yet 😭)

Let me also remind you that this is not a sequel of any Reply/Answer Me Series so it's okay to watch this drama without the reference of Reply 1997 and 1994.

So here's the reasons why you shouldn't miss "Reply 1988/Answer Me 1988":

1. Makes you reminisce your childhood. (Especially, those who grew up in late 1980s and early 1990s)

2. The siblings scenes are very relatable.

From blaming your parents for having the worst name in all of your siblings to random rants why having a sibling is such a headache. This is a reminder that your siblings are  the ones who will stay on your side whatever circumstances you are going through, although bullies can't be avoided. Being an eldest, middle or youngest has their own struggles in their roles in a family, by watching this, you will understand more of your siblings and the essence of having a sister or a brother.

3. Got you remember your friends for life.

You will surely miss your friends while watching this drama. Have you wondered why some friendship fall apart and some stays the same? This drama shows what really means having not just friends, but true friends in our lives. How this friendship value each other makes you realize how genuine their love for each other.

3. Puppy love heartbreaks.

How about your puppy love? It's still fresh for us how we met our puppy love and how it broke our hearts. It's just too cute to handle Dukseon's first heartbreak maybe because many of us can relate to her for having a one-sided love or not having a confession. First love or puppy love gave us a wonderful experience and also it was an embarrassing moment to remember in the future. lol

4. Old-fashion is jjang!

The time when crop tops and shorty shorts were not a thing. Just a pair of denim jacket and jeans makes you swag. And of course, how about a straight cut jeans and tucked-in tees and polo? Also, don't forget the fashionable belts to emphasize your tucked-in tees! How could we forget this era where sneakers (preferably the white ones) were a trademark for the youths? Nike, Adidas and Pony are being advertised unconsiously. Ughh. I'm too old to realized that I belonged to this era. 😢😢

5. Techies are no big deal on this generation.

Can you still imagine at that time when telephones (rotary telephone to be exact) and payphones were made to communicate someone in a long distance? And FYI, there is no beeper on year 1988. How people lived simply on this era made you think how happy they are and more personally connected than with us having connected only through social medias. From VHS, Comic Books, Penpal, Cassete tapes, Video Recorder and Baduk (which was popular in Korea at that time) makes you feel nostalgic. 

6. The characters are all so good.

Okay. To be honest, these people tagged on my heart (especially, Bogum). The casts really perfectly portrayed their characters. You can feel their emotions including their heartaches. I can't really put it into words but all I can say is DAEBAK! Perfect casts indeed! (I'm sorry but I don't want to be a spoiler) 😝

7. A family-Oriented drama.

This drama was a tear-jerker! Just prepare a box of tissues. From Dukseon's family where they portrayed as a poor family living in a tiny storage room of Junghwan's family, whom is a well-off family and to Taek's single father and Sunwoo's poor single mother. All their struggles will surely make you understand your parents. This drama makes you want to hug your parents. Aww 😢😢

8. Never-ending life lessons. 

One of the qualities of Reply / Answer Me Series were the lessons and realizations on every episodes' ending. It really touched you because they really focused on the everyday situations of the reality. But the only difference of Reply 1988 from other series (Reply 1997 and 1994) was they focused more on the family rather than the lead's love story (which was regained on the last four episodes). It has less love conflict than the two previous series and because of that, the viewers had a hard time of guessing the husband. Anyway, the life lessons are superb! Got you a pinch from your heart.

9. The beginning of the 21st Century.

The characters are now on their 20's when they reached the 21st Century, where they become matured and stable on their jobs. It was the beginning of the technology and gadgets. The transitions of the characters will make you feel melancholic, thinking how these kids changed and how the world changed.

10. The husband-guessing game.

The trademark of the Reply / Answer Me Series was the husband-guessing game. Well, on this series, you will crush your heart by investing your emotions to this drama. I will not say much more on this one, just like I said on above, I don't want to be a spoiler. (Just be careful on google search, if you don't want to be spoiled) 

P.S. I recommend after watching this, try to watch also the "Youth Over Flowers in Africa" you will surely love more the Shinsadong boys.

Orange Marmalade

After forgetting to finish this webtoon drama *because of being bombarded to 3 kdramas I just recently finished* , finally~ I’m done with this drama! Hehe

Well, I cried a lot with this drama. It has a very unique love story that revolves around between a vampire and a human. From the first couple of episodes, the story began in a modern day where the vampires and humans coexisted. The vampires can no longer rely drinking human blood but instead, they drink animal’s blood as their food.

So here’s Baek Ma Ri, the vampire, she was new transferred student to a school where she will meet Jung Jae-min, the most popular guy in their school. On their way to go home, they took the same train and Jae-min sat beside Ma Ri. When Ma Ri fell asleep, she had a dream of smelling sweet blood, where she was referring to Jae-min’s blood. Without her knowing, she accidentally kissed Jae-min’s neck and by her surprised she suddenly left and leave astonished Jae-min behind.

After that incident, Jae-min was always bothered by her. And later on, they formed a band where Ma-Ri is the vocalist. They named the band Orange Marmalade as Ma Ri suggested. The band includes Han Shi-ho, also a vampire and Ma Ri’s childhood friend. And these three characters develops a love triangle. After the band was formed, Jae-min and Ma Ri got closer together and found out that they had the same feelings for each other. But, the happy moments disappeared when Jae-min discovered that Ma Ri and Shi-ho were vampires. Troubled Ma Ri asked Jae-min to forget about her and acted to jump from a light tower but Jae-min stopped her and instead, he fell from the light tower and got drowned in the water. And the flashback from 300 years ago started.

In this Joseon era, Jung Jae Min and Han Shi Hoo were students at Sungkyunkwan, a popular school on this era who are called to be scholars. They came from a noble family, Jae Min is a non-violent scholar, which his father was so disappointed on him because Jae-Min can’t take his father’s legacy as a military general.  Meanwhile, Shi Hoo was Jae-Min’s rebellious roommate at the school. They met Baek Ma Ri, she were the daughter of vampires who work as butchers. Her family abstains from human blood. When Jae Min meets Ma Ri, he is fascinated by her beauty. But, Jae-mIn can’t pursue Ma Ri because of their living status. After Jae-min’s father found out of their beginning romance, he bethrowed Jae-min to a noble daughter of his friend. And because of that, Ma Ri chose to stay away from Jae-min. Later on, when people found out the vampires attacked them, they made an alliance that will hunt vampires.

Han Shi-hoo joined in the military who persecutes vampires. After saving Ma Ri, Shi-hoo got bitten by a vampire, in order to save Shi-hoo from dying, Ma Ri shared her blood to him but he will become a vampire. People thought Shi-hoo died after that incident. After that, Jae-min decided to join the military to get a revenge what happened to Shi-hoo. By joining the military and in search for vampires, Jae-min discovered that Shi-hoo didn’t died but became a vampire and he also found out that Ma Ri is a vampire. He got angry and this made a conflict on their story. Fast forward to the scene where Ma Ri got abducted by the queen of the vampires who sucks human blood. Jae-min’s love for Ma Ri is greater than his anguish. He saved Ma Ri but got bitten by a vampire. Ma Ri can’t be abld to save him because she knows that Jae-min hates vampire. She sacrificed herself to save Jae-min and get him back to life by starving herself from any blood in order to cleanse her blood from vampires’ blood. She shared her pure blood to Jae-min but ended up dead.

This story taught us how to value our loved ones whatever his/her past and his/her story. To make the story short, If it’s meant to be, it will be.

P.S. Yoo Jin-goo’s charisma got me chills! 😍😍😍😍

Cinderella and Four Knights

I just finished watching this drama recently and I’m a little bit relieved because it’s a happy ending! Well, it’s kind a sad for me because this eye-candy drama has ended so soon. Anyway, let me tell you how this kdrama will affect your eyes and heart as well.

The Cinderella: Eun Ha-Won

This actress was really suited for this role. I mean, she’s so cute and adorable! The story goes with her having a stepmom and stepsister who abused her to the extent letting her sleep at the balcony and even forced to have a part-time job to sustain her studies, because her stepmom wouldn’t let her go to school. Meanwhile her father was not always around and also he has no concern about Ha-won, which can be explained through more episodes.

The Four Knights:

1. Kang Hyun-Min

This is Kang Hyun-Min, the most brat of all the three Kang Cousins. He is a player and everything he wants will be given. He is popular for giving a one wish to all the girls who will dumped by him. Isn’t amazing? By knowing that his grandfather will be married again, he got an idea how to ruin his grandfather’s wedding by introducing his fiance to his grandfather. And the problem is that, he has no girl to be his fiance at that time. So, this is what he did..

So, this is where it all starts… Hyun-Min persuaded Ha-won to be his fiance for a night and he will give her One Million Won in return. Ha-won was not convinced at first, but because of the overdue of the remnants of her mother, she decided to take the opportunity to earn a million won in just a night. Without her knowing, that night could change her whole life. After ruining the wedding, Hyun-Min’s grandfather got interested to Ha-won when she disciplined Hyun-Min in front of him. All in all, Ahn Jae-Hyun has a red kissable lips that no one can resist, even his wife, Hye-Sun of course! 

2. Lee Yoon-Sung

He’s the grandfather Chairman Kang assistant and also the bodyguard of the Kang Cousins. He assisted our Cinderella, Ha -Won to the Sky House, where she was appointed to be the Kang Cousins disciplinary teacher in return, she will get a full support in college. I don’t know but at the beginning I’m so confused, why the title says Four Knights where I can only see Three Knights? So, after watching few more episodes and also waiting for the new character to complete the Four Knights, I suddenly realized that Yoon-Sung was also included as a Knight.lol

3. Kang Seo-Woo

Cutie-pie singer Seo-Woo! He’s the most calm among Kang Cousins. He helped Ha-Won in many ways. Well, his character reminded me a lot of Jeremy in You’re Beautiful. He fell in love with Ha-Won but got friendzoned. Same feels like Jeremy. 😂 

4. Kang Ji-Woon

The bad-ass Ji-woon. He’s the troublemaker among the Kang Cousins. Due to the absence of his father’s presence, he couldn’t forgive his grandfather for making his mother’s life miserable. He was confused by his father that why did he leave them behind. And also, he recently discovered that he is one of the heir to the Kang group. Well, at first he’s a bad-tempered person but slowly, he opened up his soft side, it was all because of Ha-Won. Ill-woo never failed to give me a good kissing scene. Hahaha Now I looked like a pervert! 😂😂

Other Character:

Park Hye-Ji

Hyun-Min’s childhood friend and also his first love. But, because of Hyun-Min who always ignoring her feelings, Hye-Ji got close to Ji-Woon who was always on her side whenever she’s down. This character made Ji-woon and Hyun-Min having a bad blood.

This 16 episodes drama got me reminiscing to the Boys Over Flowers, which the characters are more like F4. And also to the You’re Beautiful, where the characters fits into the same character of this drama, Tae-kyung and Ji-woon for the bad-ass character; Shin-woo and Hyun-min for liking the lead actress first, though as for Hyun-min he is not into Ha-won; and lastly Jeremy and Seo-Woo for the friendzone feels. 😂😂 

This drama ended so soon and I feel like there’s something need to add to the story. The plot is too plain, there’s no tension arising between the characters except the scene where Chairman Kang terminating Ha-Won and saying that she must forget everything what happened in the Sky House, including Ji-Woon and the plan of Chairman Kang’s wife to let Assistant Yoon-Sung be the next Chairman. But that scene was resolved in just two episodes. Aside from that, there is no major impact scene that catched the viewers hearts. 

To wrapped this review, this drama is a so-so. If you want a light kdrama and having an eye-candy, this drama is a must but be prepared to get swooned by these Four Knights! 👌👌
