i wish our society placed as much importance on friendship as it does on romantic relationships.

like, my friends mean the world to me. i’ ve become a better version of me just by hanging out with them, we have an incredibly meaningful relationship, we are always there for each other in times of need, we know we can tell each other everything because we never judge but always support.

i have never once in my life pictured myself wirh just one significant other, because to me that person is all of my friends,they’re the people i want to get old with.

and i wish more people would see how fulfilling these friendships are, instead of being second best to romantic relationships.
