Literally cannot stop thinking about how the numbers we are seeing of those killed in Gaza are strictly reflective of the bodies that had made it to a hospital.

Thousands are still missing; many are trapped under the rubble, some bodies were never retrieved from the streets where Israeli snipers are positioned, some bodies have been eaten by animals to the point of being unrecognised, and others have been buried in mass graves or school yards without being identified.

The numbers you are seeing (25,000+ as of January 24, 2024) are unfortunately specifically of those who had their bodies arrive at a functioning hospital in Gaza in a condition well enough to be identified.

There is still hope. Say it out loud. Palestine will be free. The Palestinian people will celebrate their culture and heritage with each other. We will love and be loved. Do not fall into the trap of despair.

I'm not saying this just for morale. I'm saying this as a reminder that the colonialist regime relies on your despair, uses it to further their propaganda. Once you lose hope, and tell everyone you lose hope, you are aiding the Zionist Entity.

Make it a point that you BELIEVE that Palestine will be free even in the face of genocide. Hope can halt genocide. Do not aid our oppressors.

What is the appeal of wealth?

for the longest time, i have been struggling to comprehend greed. the urge to hoard money and wealth beyond what anyone would need. do not misunderstand me, i too want to have enough money to live comfortably, be certain i have enough food for me and my loved ones, maybe own a house and a car, be able to buy what i need/want. but watching, for example, the kardashians, in a home that is so large and flashy that maintaining it by themselves is impossible and that feels so cold and not homey whatsoever startles me. at some point, wealth looses it's realistic appeal, yet the richest among us insist on flaunting it. flaunting their sterile multi million mansions, sportcars that are an impractical as they are ugly, or whatever outlandish things came across their mind.

and i know why, of course, so do you. the ultra rich seem to be very insistent on trying to prove how much better than we they are. it's to show how much wealthier and therefore better than us they are.

yet, i am not impressed, on the contrary, such displays seem so very sad to me. how upsetting, to think about about how little they think of themselves. how curious, that they are unable to reach the next stage of the maslow pyramid and so desperately need to prove their worth in ways so; primitive.

i wonder, will there be a time where the rich learn, that they need to give back to the people to be respected. or are they so stuck in their ways that only the violence of the working class can change the status quo?
