Oh he knows this maiden. “Ah yes THE Karamatsu girl? Why yes it is. Might I ask what brought yourself to these parts? This is a dangerous part of town.” He puffs out his chest and pulls his thumb to point at himself. “Do not worry however, I shall be your guiding light as well as the indestructible knight that shall protect you. I even have gifts.” He quickly pulls out a Karamatsu tank top from a bag he’d been carrying around for no reason imparticular, of course he hadn’t been waiting this whole time to bestow a gift.

“E-Eh?” Todoko instinctively gave him a scowl before shuffling back awkwardly. Of course just what she needed! To be hit on by a scum bag on the way back from work. She could feel her scowl deepening even more just looking at that…horried t-shirt did it have his face on it?!

H-he’ll return to his carefree self! No use keeping a gloomy uptake!” He forces a laughter that burns his throat, strange, it was harder to than expected. “I am well though, I’m glad to hear the same words come through your lips. Ahhh~ We should grab a beer to celebrate our independence. A-Are you okay brother? A-after what happened I mean…” His words trail off into nothingness.

“Aha… Well… Yes.” Karamatsu scratches the nape of his neck for a second, turning his head away from Totty for a second to examine his surroundings for no reason other than to give a pause in his speech. “Once Choro- A-and well you… It just seemed as if… As if we- No… I had to move forward. I couldn’t let my youngest brother stay ahead of me too long now couldn’t I? Haha, my graduation complimented yours my brother.” He grins almost sadly to his little brother to accompany his nervous chuckle. It was to be a happy occasion, this graduation, wasn’t? Yet… He looks into Totty’s eyes with a grim expression, though with his glasses perhaps it was slightly harder to tell. “Have you been eating well? Have you been living well?”
