A teenage girl? Here? In front of him? What could she want from someone like him?

As he examined her, it only dawned on him that he might’ve seen this person before. Those scars on her face, the orange and white hair, and that red apron that adorned her slender neck — they all seemed so similar to… the fox. Was this some type of joke? There was no way a beast could turn into a human being! That just… went against logic, but here she was in front of him.

"…What is this?" His tone dripped of skepticism, not sure of how to take this. "This must be an effect of not getting sleep. A… hallucination. How simply ludicrous."

his steps are slow & mostly uncoordinated as he limps on the streets; leaving crimson splotches on the cement of an unknown boulevard. red stains his blue jeans, once used to be bluer than the night he treads in. pale moonlight, alongside with a few still-working street lights illuminate the path daisuke walks upon as he tries to recall exactly what occurred to leave him in such a beaten-up state.

although his vision blurs and gradually worsens, orange eyes somehow manage to form a silhouette in the distance; a lamppost showering them with light. whether if it’s a mere illusion or not, the blonde still attempts to call out to them. raising his left hand ( since the other one is busy trying to stop the bleeding from underneath his shirt, ) daisuke tries to yell before his voice croaks as he falls on the ground; colliding with the cement––;

The sociologist had every intention of simply walking past and ignoring the injured fellow slumping towards the ground, but found himself unable to once he heard the sound of the other's voice pleading for assistance. He turned himself to glance at the blond, taking in the sight of blood soaking into his attire.

What was he supposed to do? Half of him wanted to kick him while he was down and the suffering with his own hands while the other half wanted to help him. He might need him someday and the other would owe him one. He could easily take advantage of this moment of weakness and use the stranger for experiments he had in mind.

After taking his sweet time weighing out his options, he finally came to the conclusion that he would go with the latter choice. A small sigh passed his lips as he eased over to the wounded stranger, lowering his gloved hand to grab him by the wrist.

"Come," he muttered lowly, lifting the blond to help him stand upright and steady him. Once that was taken care of, he moved to take the other to a hospital to get him taken care of. "Luckily, it only seems to be open wounds. I think it only needs cleansing and bandaging. After that, you should be fine."

Not only was it surprising to see a real gentleman before her very eyes, it made her quite happy. Men like him was a bit of a sweet spot for her, making the woman blush at the realization of it. Fidgeting in embarrassment, the woman soon cleared her throat and flashed him a smile “Stefan, that’s a nice name. You may call me Anu!”

By the look of the tall-tale flush upon her cheeks, he could already tell that he had this one in his grasp. Was she already taken with him by his introduction alone? If that was the case, then he would drag this along just to see where this goes. She might even prove to be viable for his studies.

"Is it really? I am ashamed to say that it is nothing out of the ordinary. Your name, however, is plenty unique. Where are you from, Anu? You do not mind me inquiring about such things, correct?"

"So I was right in assuming so. Excellent." It was almost amazing that in the country of America alone contained so many accents. Brooklyn, Boston, and possibly so many others that he could not recall. "Where I am from? I am from Europe, in a country known as Österreich, although many people refer to it as 'Austria'. Oh, I am curious about something. How is it in America? It has been years since I was last there."

She wasn’t buying. But I’m busy just now. If you want to talk, walk. Leastwise at the end I can find amusement in that you’re out of breath proposing whatever it is you want me for." This, spoken gruffly, but a deeper part of her character slowed her steps. She was indeed in transit, but not to classes. No, she was in fact headed for an old fashioned pub where the city police languished after another disillusioning day at their posts.            {And oh, but there was no one who could relate better than the young woman drowning the memory of a friend in callous resolves and whiskey just strong enough to give her wits an edge.} Well, and maybe this stranger would be distraction enough before her usual methods.

Would she be one of the people that leave? She certainly seemed uninterested in what he had to say, not that it bothered him -- it wasn't the first time it's happened. There were always these types of people that he came across, and it only intrigued them more. What made them so standoffish? Oh how he wanted to dive into the depths of her mind.

Just when he was going to bid her adieu and be on his way to find another poor soul to victimize, she finally gave him the response that he desired. If she was conversing with him now, then it didn't mean he would have to leave. He could continue with her being a part of the experiment. Excellent.

But as he listened to what she said and tried to make meaning of it, he only ended up becoming slightly puzzled. Did she honestly think he was a salesman? Such things would seem humorous for someone who had a sense of humor. Why a salesperson out of all people? Was it because of his attire and hat, or the way he had approached her? What a poor way to make a conclusion about someone. Hmm... he would enjoy poking holes into her logic. 

"Well, Miss Miwa," he began, eyes locking on her with the smile still plastered on his lips as he continued, "let me correct you by letting you know that I am not proposing anything. I am not a salesman." His gloved hand reached up to adjust the hat upon his head, watching for a reaction. "I am quite curious to see why you would think of me as such."

Well..this was certainly different. The man obviously appeared much more different than the normal people he came across..if anything, he look rather sophisticated. Sienna painted irises now glanced towards the male that suddenly greeted him..in a language he wasn’t too familiar with. It was quick to assume it was a greeting though, by the way he soon nodded after the statement. This caused the brunette to offer a smile in return, listening to the rest of what he had to say before deciding it was his turn to return the introduction. ” It’s very nice to meet you Mr. Stefan! My name’s Yosuke Hanamura! It’s only fair I give it, since you gave yours, ya know? “

Mister? Was he using that honorific as a way of respecting him or simply because Stefan was much older? Whatever the case was, it wouldn't hurt to follow his lead and use an honorific as well. "It is a pleasure, Mister Yosuke." He was Japanese, correct? That name certainly seemed to be. His azure eyes then fell down to the other's attire, noting it to himself. "Are you, perhaps, a high schooler? From what school, may I inquire?" Somewhere from here, definitely. In a small town like this, there must be at least one school here. "May I ask what it is that you do here? Have any extra curricular activities such as clubs or anything that interest you? A job?"

He’s been meeting a lot of people coming out as ‘weird’, ‘strange’ and ‘odd’ lately, specially men, Though not like he’s complaining or anything, in fact, it’s all the contrary— It was the more fascinating this way! Meeting people was always exciting to him now that he had the liberty to do so.

"Pleasure to meet you, Stefan-san." The blond gave a slight bow as greeting. "My name is Yuki. Yuki Fuyukumori." He’s pretty much used to saying his full name when he’s introducing himself; he just hoped it didn’t sound too formal.

He was quite the effeminate male, wasn't he? If it wasn't for his attire and the way he carried himself, Stefan was sure to have addressed him as a female. Hmm... perhaps his feminine looks will play a role in how this study will go. He seemed like the type to hate being told that he looks like a girl. Was he right? The only way he would find out was to try it, but he would have to save that much later. Right now, he had to worry about interacting with him and learning more about this... person.

"Yuki-san then? Then it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Yuki-san." He lifted his head slightly as he gave a small bow of the head in respect. "Do you have anything you like to do? Hobbies? Interests?" That would be the best place to start.

Normally he didn’t think he would understand a beast, but now he was… slightly put off-guard by how intelligent this fox seemed. By the way it was yapping, it was almost as if it was talking. Was that… an actual question coming from it? How interesting.

"How long has it been since I last slept?" It was a bit random, but it wouldn’t hurt answering if it would have him know more about the darling fox. "It has been at least twelve hours or so since I last got some shut eye. It was not a very long sleep, but it was enough to do the job. How about you? Have you gotten any rest? It is not wise to go without sleep. You may go insane."
