However this is counteracted by the fact that when I actually have a real mandated project I have to fight my internal demons to not work on the cool anime ahh idea my brain just came up with instead, its an addiction and a problem. Don't be an artist you'll go fucking crazy

I JUST HAD THE THOUGHT THAT A FUTURE VILLAIN TORD WOULD LIKELY DEVELOP A SUIT THAT SPECIFICALLY COUNTERACTS MATT AND TOM'S ABILITIES, WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT

Also, I think as per canon, Tom's first 'weapon' of choice would be a harpoon, but given his mutant ability, he would also make a really good marksman...

Matt and Edd have pretty passive abilities, not sure yet what I'll do for their accessories but ill think of something

I have many thoughts on Tom specifically as a mutant since his mutation is visible-

Eddsworld Xmen AU

The porksoda animation changed lives, specifically my life because now I'm intrigued by Eddsworld, anyways I came up with some powers the main four would have in an Xmen AU, maybe I'll get around to drawing idk yet

Edd- has some sort of manifestation ability, he can draw objects from pictures as long as he has a 3 dimensional understanding. Alternatively he can store things in pictures for later. Art major who is super good at concept art for this reason. Tord tends to go to him for manufacturing specific parts of projects, likewise Edd will consult Tord about the specifics of materials if he ever has a crazy idea he wants to bring to life.

Tom - eyes are completely black, his abilities are supernatural in nature, having the ability to turn into a shadow, he is at times translucent, in this invisible state he's got the ability to see the x-rays of things, though it can be quite disorienting. Bright lights hurt him and he needs to wear sunglasses in most cases since his eyes are sensitive. He's capable of passing through objects through shadow manipulation, its like water to him which means he can travel rapid distances through this "melting" state. The most supernatural adventures tend to happen to him.

Tord - can manipulate metal of all varieties at various states of matter (from liquid to solid) he can not however turn a solid into liquid. But he's keen at understanding different properties of metal and sensing them even if he can't see it. This gives him the unique ability to move and manipulate a variety of machinery.  He studies mechanical engineering and can often be found working with Edd to produce a variety of experimental inventions.

Matt - incredibly in awe of himself, Matt has a captivating persona and a load of good luck. The universe seems to smile on him, he is impervious to harm and has a resounding calmness given things rarely can touch him. As a result he is constantly getting into absurd situations. His good luck tends to rub on people close to him. He has a kind of charm speak that influences people, however the effect wears off the more he gets to know a person. It's a passive ability he's very cautious about.

I'm still thinking about plot points, I think I might make some fun one shots and turn it into a small anthology or something if I still have motivation- the gang combined makes them pretty well equipped to handle all the absurd situations mutants get into, anyways if yall have any ideas about it, it would be so fun to chat

Recently watched Project Hail Mary and rewatched The Martian, it's infected my brain, you know what else has infected my brain? The goddamn qsmp2, I'm back in the building and I am so so so far behind, but anyways- Quackity always plays boy faliure characters who still manage to be absolute divas, this trait obviously parallels with Ryland Grace so here we have Quackity Grace of course

It took me a second to figure out who Mark Wattney would be, but Roier in general is such a huge jokester, but hes still clever and pretty resourceful, idk I think his character could grow those damn Mars potatoes. Anyways ill for sure get back to this (in like 3 months..) but just had to share my funny little sketches

Wings are based off a Baltimore oriole, which has very McLaren colors!
