Identity Crisis

I look in my center rear view mirror and see a portion of my face.  I can't look at myself so I turn it away.  It is now directed towards the passenger window, reflecting an image of the ground outside.  I watch the dirt fly by in a blur.

Religion is so interesting because

Early people found the earth so fascinating and great that they imagined something greater creating and controlling it.  Which is true.  That thing is called physical laws.  But the thing so glorious is that, before physics, people imagined fanciful stories of fanciful gods to explain these things.  These people marveled at the unpolluted star-scape and imagined men greater than them above them controlling.  This view, though unprovable, seems much more interesting to me than the provable truth of physical laws creation/destruction.  And so ancient religions, and religions of all kind appeal to me in study inertly by way of their nature.
