I've made a lot of good friends here and you can always IM me for my Skype + other blogs and such since I'll be sticking around for that purpose for a few days. If I show any doubt then I’ll definitely ruin this!” Battler grinned and looked down at their project. “We got the paper instructions, as long as we follow that I don’t think we need a demonstration.” Completely disregarding the instructor Battler started mixing chemicals on the table. He had done a good job closely following the instructions and there haven’t been any catastrophic errors yet.
“C’mon, don’t look so tense… Why don’t you do step six?” Battler handed the paper to the nervous looking girl, flashed her a reassuring smile, and pointed to the step they were on. They were already four steps ahead of everyone else so it wasn’t necessary for them to continue.
“Isn’t this the fun stuff though? Better than researching and exams… So have fun with this while you can!” {♔}
“Yeah I guess, but it’s still dangerous to play with chemicals that sensei told us not to touch until everyone was ready? If we do it wrong something bad might happen!”
Ah Madotsuki, always the cautious one. Just pick up the vial silly girl, it’s not that hard. Besides, if it’s safe enough for a school lab what could possibly happen? Shaky hands pour the contents of the glass container into the tube, stepping back almost immediately. “T-there- I did it!”
——-☾ “I don’t know why you’d ask me something like that.” Gaze sets at the girl’s knee, though not a word is mentioned about it.
“I don’t know what to tell you,” Russell admits, he never knew what it was like to be okay after all. The boy only ever locking away any emotions and taking them out on kind, innocent people. Oh well. “Drugs always helped me get rid of the feeling. I doubt it’d make you understand anything, however. “
Another pause. “What makes you an outsider…?”
“It doesn’t matter WHY, the point is I AM. You don’t have to have a reason. Sometimes, you just look around and figure out that the world is moving without you- like you don’t even exist. “ She shrugs, bloodied fingers wiping themselves on her skirt. “Drugs just make the feeling worse. You still don’t belong. At least, that’s what it’s like for me.”
madotsuki. landing on the loaded chamber the very first spin– ah, well. at least there’s some sort of method to dealing with this; madotsuki isn’t going to throw any punches at her that she isn’t already expecting. poniko notes with dulled irritation that the other girl’s gone ahead and made herself at home, despite the fact that this is poniko’s room. she didn’t even ask.

“No you wouldn’t. Next time I can ask if it really makes a difference for you- but the way I figure it, it’s my house too. I mean, didn’t I create it?” Legs cross and soggied back leans against the wall, eyes closing momentarily. “I know this isn’t an ideal situation- believe me i’d much rather be somewhere else than here. You aren’t the most pleasant person to be around.” In truth, Poniko is probably the only part of the dreamworld that she doesn’t actually mind sharing a space with. Sure she’s not the most pleasant company- but the girl hides things. Madotsuki would love to figure this girl out.

common sense would say that being this far into the guts of the wilderness would be a deterrent to most, but no - it’s always the persistent ones, isn’t it? she hates to admit that she’s unnerved, hates that it makes her uncomfortable to have guests in her home, so she keeps her back turned to them and pretends to be busy with the blank journals on the desk.
it might be madotsuki. might not. neither option eases her mind.

“It’s raining again. Sea’s flooding.” A shrug, and Madotsuki closes the door. She trudges unapologetically towards the girl’s bed, plopping herself down with a soft thud. Pallid hands remove soggied shoes and set them neatly against the wall. Why did Poniko mind company so much? Madotsuki knows she’s certainly one to talk- but even she greets people with a tad more kindness than her blonde ‘friend’. “I’ll be out of your hair when the paths clear up. In the meantime, you can just pretend i’m not here.”
