You rolled your eyes at your boyfriend, for what seemed the hundredth time today. Jeno had come to hang out with you, but you were busy studying for your exams so he was currently sitting on your bed, purposely huffing every 2 minutes.
“Jeno, can you please keep quiet, I’m trying to study.” you said. Honestly you were getting really annoyed. You had so much to do and his presence didn’t help at all.
“But babe,” he whined, “you’ve been studying ever since I came here. And that was 5 hours ago.” he deadpanned.
“Jeno, what can’t you understand from the phrase I’m having an exam in one week and I still have a shit ton to study? Stop. Being. Annoying.” you snapped, your voice raising a bit.
“Fine, sorry that I want to spend some time with my girlfriend. If that’s being annoying, I really am sorry. But don’t whine when I leave for tour and we can’t see each other for at least 3 months.” he huffed. The moment he said that, you immediately felt bad for snapping at him. Yes, your exam was important but your boyfriend was important as well. Besides you were already ahead of your schedule, calling it a day wouldn’t hurt you.
You closed your books and approached the bed. Jeno had his back turned on you and you could tell he was mad at you from his posture. You laid down next to him, propping yourself on your elbow so you could caress his back.
“I’m really sorry baby. You weren’t being annoying, I was just overreacting. I want to spend time with you too, you know I love you a lot right?” you said, closing your eyes hoping that he would forgive you.
Jeno turned around, taking your hand in his. “I’m sorry as well. I know me trying to get your attention was stupid but I miss you jagi. And I’m going to miss you like hell when I’m gone so I want to hold you as much as I can.” he said and pulled you closer to him, hugging you. You looked up at him and kissed his nose, making him giggle.
“It wasn’t stupid. I was just stressed and took it out on you.” you said apologetically.
“Well, what do you say we spend the rest of the night cuddling and just taking then?” Jeno said, kissing your cheek and then your lips.
“That’s all I need. You’re all I need.”
Needless to say, the night was spend with lots of talking, cuddling, kissing and genuinely enjoying each other’s company.
