Yesterday we went to see Alfons Mucha’s Slav Epic and ngl it felt like my life has changed? It was so beautiful? I was so speechless? The whole collection is very important to czech history and I’ve read a lot about it but I’ve never seen it in person and I had no idea the paintings were so HUGE. Also the painting techniques shown and the colour mastery and the details and basically everything about it made me amazed but also frustrated with how RIDICULOUSLY GOOD IT ALL IS

Anyway here are some closeups of the paintings, sometimes the colours are kinda shitty, it was really dark in there

It's been a long two weeks of a lot of life and family duties, but now that things have calmed down, aiming to pick up speed on finishing the other 7 busts. Hoping to play with casting the chess base and combining it with the figures this weekend. Hopefully I can make it all work...decided to keep some of the imperfections of the sculpture un-buffed.
