While a bit of melancholy and doubt remain anyway, curiosity and a joy in the fantastic prevail and translate into jazz-influenced experimental pop songs as a form of confused energy. We are very happy to present "The Sky Is Orange" by Point No Point as the first single off the upcoming second album "Bad Vibes In Mushroom Forest" ! Bad Vibes will be released on April 1st with release shows at Hafenklang Hamburg on March 31st and BLO Ateliers Berlin on April 1st.

If the debut album “Drift” was an introverted reflection of uncertainty and aimlessness, there is a clear direction now: into the forest, under the microscope, on deck the research ship. There still is some melancholy and some doubts, but curiosity and joy in facing the fantastic are pushed to the foreground.

»Amnesie« is the title track off the debut album by Yoga and is about amnesia, loss of memory and memorylessness of course. But just as their previous single »Dead Sea Salt«, the song seems to be about the standstill caused by the pandemic and lockdown, too, although the song was written and recorded before Corona – and about the break the band took some years back after gaining some attention in 2016. There is a certain knowledge about deeper things in this band, that just can't be explained.

VOODOO BEACH are back again - in a new line-up and with their first new song ANDERS SEIN !The trinity of guitar/drums/bass is on a trip through the night and wears a dark-blue almost black klangfarbe, that is not only lightened by precise cymbals and snares but also by Heike Rädekers polyphonically mixed vocals, that lurk through the window just to unhinge it seconds later. John-H. Karsten plays bass and also writes the lyrics, Josephine Oleak plays drums and previously mentioned Heike Rädeker plays guitar (for the first time!) and sings (in German for the first time!).

Yogas new single »Dead Sea Salt« is out now with a video by Max Hilsamer. At first there is just static coming from the amplifiers with slowly and carefully built ambient noise. They kept us waiting and with this song they still do for a good half of a minute. What a song! Happy release day, Yoga! And we can finally announce: Their debut album »Amnesie« will be released in the summer.

Today we are releasing the "Reservoir" EP by Markus including 6 songs of finest arty Post-Punk in 9 minutes total. You already saw their video for "Insécurité", now they teamed up with Noniboys who contributed a performance for the song "Papa". For swinging, for cuddling, for drilling. Hi musiclovers, we are very happy to today release "Insécurité" off the upcoming new "Reservoir" EP by Markus. Markus is a dadaistic three-piece that shows up at happenings and exhibitions of the Munich art scene and knows its way around all styles of Punk and Post-Punk: Hardcore, Mathrock, Emo-Punk, Noiserock and many more – on earlier EPs namely, e.g., Metal and Crustpunk. Guitar-Bass-Drums and the voice of Veronica Burnuthian of the fantastic Kraut-Noise-Rock band FRIENDS OF GAS, who sings in French, English and German. Their songs used to be under one minute long on their debut “Die Leyla E.P.” but got to an average of about 1:30 minute by now – with "Reservoir" setting new personal records for shortest (“!?” with 0:11 minutes) and longest track (“RRRRRR!” is 2:54 minutes). It's their 4th EP and you can get their previous EPs on their Bandcamp. The "Reservoir" EP comes digitally as well as in a limited edition of 100 cassette tapes, available for pre-order now and to be released on March 19th.

We teamed up with Markus, the dada-post-punk band from Munich including Veronica Burnuthian of FRIENDS OF GAS, to release their fourth EP next month!

But first, let's look at their previous EPs, which were available on Bandcamp only - until now. We distributed them to all streaming platforms you can imagine (links to Spotify & Apple Music below). Go check out their punk gone post-punk with some hardcore, noise, crust and dadaism with lyrics in English, French and German, all put into songs that are all under 1 minute long (shortest is 0:27, "Die Leyla E.P." from October 2019), around 1:30 minutes long (with one exception of 2:50, "Meeresbrisée from March 2020) or around 1:15 minutes long ("Moonboots" from November 2020). It's the fastest we have ever done and we feel young again. You can do, too.

The best is yet to come, with their upcoming "Reservoir" EP, first single due next week.
