Spain and Romano once had a discussion about the latter having wanted to be called “South Italy” instead, just like he deserved to be as an equal half of the country. Being the respectful boyfriend he is, Spain of course did not hesitate to get used to it immediately. However, during one intimate night the older nation had been so breathless at its highpoint that the only thing he managed to bring out comprehensibly was “Italy” - Since that very awkward event Lovino keeps insisting on “Romano”, especially in the presence of his lover.

Two Kinds of High

When Antonio was in his young adult years, he loved cannabis, because it made him smile uncontrollably and gave him "a good sense of humor". Sometimes, on his days off, and when Lovino isn't around, he'll have a little, but only because Lovino isn't there to get him high off of life and lust and love. Lovino doesn't know that Antonio has ever indulged in cannabis, or that he continues to do so.

Nobody knows how often Spain's smiles are fake. Nobody knows how often Spain wants to just drop the act and be sad, melancholy. Nobody knows how often Spain just wants to be cuddled, to be taken care of. 

Except for Romano, nobody has a clue.

Lovino's name

Hey sweetie, I’m just here to tell you that really Lovino comes from the latin “piccolo lupo”, that is also italian and means “little wolf” in english, something that may (in the hetaliaverse) come from Grandpa Rome and some headcanons that say that he’s Romulus, brother of Remus, childs raised by a wolf. Love your page BTW.

Whenever Romano can't sleep, he makes an effort to 'accidentally' wake Spain up. Sex always tires him out successfully.

Before Romano and Spain started dating, Romano would keep visiting Belgium to get advice on how to get Spain to like him. The visits were frequent, unintentionally making Spain jealous.

Whenever Spain tries to lecture Romano about fighting with his brother, Romano mentions Portugal. Safe to say, the lecture quickly stops.

Ever since Spain convinced Romano to put some of his art up for auction, he's had a mysterious bidder that buys all of his pieces. Spain would stop buying them, but he loves the excited look Romano gets whenever another piece is sold.

On cold nights, Romano always wakes up with an extra blanket. He still hasn't figured out that Spain puts it on him during the night.

Romano always wants to sit far away from Spain during World Meetings so that he won't show weakness in front of the other nations. Spain never lets that happen.
