my previous home was broken into last august while i was home and asleep. i have since bought a house and moved, but i still don’t feel safe. i’m in a good neighborhood now versus before, and i have two extra people living with me (4 of us total), which i feel should make me feel better? but i don’t. every night i lay here and wait to hear the sounds of someone breaking in again. i hope i won’t hear it again. i went and saw a psychiatrist and she gave me meds but now i don’t have insurance so no meds or psychiatrist or therapist. just me rawdogging my fear and sleeping every night with a weapon.
