Ardra- Human experimentation

Ardra is highly prominent in the leaders of human experimentation programs through history. Unit 731, Auschwitz medical experiments, Project MKUltra- these are the most famous examples of conducting unethical experiments on humans whose central leading figure are all Ardra natives.

Ardra's desire is to rule over wild forces: "May I become lord of the animals". This includes both the natural order and human nature, explaining why the nakshatra is linked with scientists, who -through science- manage to manipulate and rule over nature. This is reflected in the mad scientist archetype which I believe Ardra embodies.
For example, Sidney Gottlieb was head of the CIA and responsible for the implementation of MKUltra, a project which attempted to develop mind and behaviour control techniques against the Soviets during the Cold War.
Nonetheless, Ardra's dark side represents the total rejection of divinity which curses individuals to pursue reason to extreme ends at the cost of compassion and humanity.
Human rights abuses are countless in all the cases shown. Unit 731 led by Shiro Ishii, for instance, used live vivisections and tested biological weapons on -mostly- Chinese civilians. Of the approximately 200,000 to 500,000 people who entered, no one made it out alive.
In some cases, human experimentation is used for medical cures. Ardra's deity Rudra is considered a healer with "a thousand medicines". The Guatemala Syphilis Experiments began as attempting to develop a cure for syphilis.
However, as was said, the results of these experiments are abhorrent, and the goal of the studies were not strictly for scientific purposes, but due to confirmation bias deliberately tried to fuel individual prejudices.
John Charles Carter (Ardra sun, Shravana moon) led the Guatemala Syphilis Experiments, a series of human experiments which continued 30 years after the cure for syphilis was found due to a desire to find research that highlighted racial differences- this was, unsurprisingly, not found.
The Tuskegee Syphilis experiments were similar. Led by Taliaferro Clark (Ardra sun, Krittika moon), they heavily exploited African Americans without regard for their health or informed consent.
Since Ardra is placed in Gemini and before Punarvasu, which represents rejuvenation, I wonder if Ardra depicts a kind of apocalypse or storm brought on by conforming to intellectual extremes- a sort of "goals trump the means" sort of attitude. These examples are obviously extreme, however, so I doubt most Ardra natives would relate to this. I am only trying to show the darker side of the nakshatra.

Out of the 6 cases listed, 5 were led by or whose most famous pioneers were Ardra natives.
Ardra, ordinarily portrayed by its deity Rudra, represents the destroyer of evil, negativity and ignorance. However, when taken too far, it falls into the evil and ignorance it tries to vanquish while attempting to achieve its goal.
If you search up doctors who participated in these heinous crimes, however, you'll find that the nakshatras represented are far more varied than just Ardra, so it's untrue to state that only Ardra is responsible or even that Ardra is most represented in doctors participating in the experiments. We can only note that the projects' leaders tend to be of this nakshatra.
Thus, there tends to be a pattern of Ardra natives being associated with human experimentation throughout history.
