another year with the met having an amazing exhibition and exemplary theme, but the people who attend the gala either don't dress the part, play it safe, or know how to eat but aren't quite on theme. it's always a few who get it spot on and DELIVER.

#met gala #met gala 2026 #i feel like every year the theme gets misinterpreted somehow but even if so at least don't come in boring #to be fair though the way they worded the theme this year i can kind of understand a disconnect because you either follow 'costume art' or #'fashion is art'#but gosh the exhibition is stunning and i wished more people dressed and read into it more #like it's all about the human form the body anatomy and how there's so many types and shapes and how the human body is a canvas #how you dress takes forms and you are the art and just i can't even really articulate the right way to put it but again if you look at what #they're presenting in the met this year it is really facinating and only few got the idea right this year if at all #like i'm not surprised nonetheless i am once again disappointed but broken thumbs up we are used to it
