He likes to sleep-- a lot, actually. I like how his hair is so messed up when we wakes up. He's funny-- we can laugh about one word for a good five minutes and we have a lot of inside jokes about people. He doesn't send long texts-- but when he does, my heart does a hundred cartwheels. I just want to hangout with him-- holding his hand, sometimes twirling his hair-- leaning on his shoulder, on his belly, on his leg-- I just want to talk with him until 5am with a very good amount of cuddling and of course, drumroll kisses.

REPLY 1994: BLUE & RED (NaBong shippers onlehhh) Part 1;

I personally think that the coordi noonas didn't just let their actors wear what they wanted. The latest ep (19), got people commenting about the red/blue stuff-- that might mean bride/groom clues (I'm not saying these are really clues for the husband hunt hehe); but it's just too many to not notice. I've been scanning all episodes (as if I don't do that everyday, LOL) and there's just too much blue and red (mostly on Najung and Chilbong;s important scenes, blue on Chilbong and Trash) on their clothes and accessories.

Episode 1: She wore red twice.

Episode 4: First Time Chilbong hangout with Najung Remember, when Chilbong ate breakfast with the family, Najeong wasn't there. This is the first time they hangout, and Chilbong already looked comfortable with her. I believe Chilbong met her before agreeing to come with Binggrae and help him move his stuff!!!!

Episode 5: Why would they use Blue/Red as team colors, there are many colors available in the world ~____~ lol

Chilbongie and the "Baseball" (Part I)

I might be giving the writer too much credit here, but despite the so-little screentime Chilbongie gets, I actually think he’s one of the more consistently written characters. I’m going to talk about Chilbong’s first and second confrontation with Oppa, because these were the two situations where, I feel like, Chilbongie’s actions confused viewers or were mistaken for “aggressiveness”, which led to some misunderstanding of his character, (And the confession “kiss” too but I’ll get to that later.), especially when it came to his intentions behind giving the baseball to Oppa. And I think viewers need not to be so quick to jump to conclusions on what it actually means. At least, not yet. It’s being misconstrued as a “threat”, as if Na Jeong (the ball) might currently be in Oppa’s possession, but someday Chilbong WILL come back for her and steal her away from Oppa. But like the first confrontation, I don’t think it’s as simple as that. I believe Chilbong intends to become a better person, but I don’t think it’s necessarily for Na Jeong (If that was the case, he could have given the ball to Na Jeong. But he didn’t.) I honestly think he did it for only himself. 

Note: This post ended up being longer than I intended. Womp. So it’s going to be posted in 3 parts. Also, If you didn’t know by now, I’m extremely Chilbongie-biased. So there will be instance where I talk about Oppa in a not-quite-so positive light (Kind of. I’m sorry, Oppa!) so if you’re easily offended, I suggest you ignore this post.

ETA: I changed the title (and also did some editing) because of the negative connotations that come with the term “Nice Guy” or “Nice Guy Syndrome” as it is also called, such as how they do nice things with the ulterior motive of being liked back. And now I realize how limiting that term is and just how easily it can be misinterpreted when not used in the right context, because that’s not the intention of this post. My mistake for not making that clear. For the record, I honestly think Chilbongie is just a nice guy. Not in the sense that he feels entitled to anything because he treats people well, but in the sense that he does things just because he wants to and with no underlying motives behind them (at least, not all of the time. I know he’s no saint). And that sometimes, he’s just too nice for his own damn good.

Anyways, I hope that clears things up for those who read this already!

You became one of my favorite distractions. These are just some of my favorite one-liners of Chilbong.

Just look at the way he leans into her. Isn’t that the posture of a man in love? Chilbong’s method of wooing is no-nonsense, straight up, “I’m in love with you and I will do anything for even one extra minute, one extra touch.” And shit, is it ever attractive. Yes, they’re studying,  but everything about his body language screams the fact that he’s in love with her.

And she doesn’t exactly look like she’s not enjoying herself.

Ask yourself this: what woman wouldn’t? He’s cute, has a KILLER body and has the best personality out of all the guys she knows. Over the time they’ve known each other, he’s become one of her best friends. Yes, Trash has known her longer, but he’s pretty much always occupied that “oppa” part of her life, especially after Hoon died.

I think they’re going to have a bit of a hard time breaking away from that brother-sister relationship they had for 20 years. It’s going to be even harder, because there’s Chilbong waiting. Chilbong who’s always been a “man” to her.

I might be biased, but that right there looks like the beginnings of true love.

Why is our OTP perfect though? Where Oppa disappoints, Chilbong delivers. Boy is totally smitten, it kills me. How this guy had the patience and perseverance to wait so long for Na Jeong is beyond me.
