In Toluca, Mexico, artist Leopoldo Flores began to elaborate with beautiful stained glass. This art nouveau styled space holds a secret garden space inside, shielding the greenhouse style interior from harsh weather and creating a home for around 500 different plants.

What was once an old market place has now become ‘Cosmovitral’ (the combination of cosmos and glass in Spanish), and the old open roof space is now home to an aerial stained glass view. Hues that incorporate the elements such as earth, air, water and fire are all intertwined and at night the views become all the more stunning. Different motifs and stories are encapsulated by the building, with human figures, animals and abstract designs covering a huge portion of this building. Via: Design Taxi
