BIG DAY - 1st Blog Post
So here it begins...I have to start somewhere right? To be honest, I’ve never really considered blogging until I created a Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT) store this past Spring and spoke with a work friend who is a Physical Therapist/blogger/TpT seller (Pink Oatmeal). She had nothing but great things to say about blogging, being a TpT seller, and the awesome community of sellers/buyers/readers/etc that accompany all of that. I immediately wanted “in” and became motivated to create great speech-related products, not only for the students I work with but for any other child and/or adult with speech/language difficulties.
About me: My name is Elizabeth and I’m a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the great state of Minnesota! I was born, raised, and educated here, and have no plans of leaving anytime soon (bring it on WINTER...shh I secretly love you). I have been working as an SLP for 6 years. My first 4 years were spent in a medical setting (TCU & LTC) and then I transitioned to my current position, of 2 years, working for an Intermediate School District.
I can’t honestly say that I’m a long-winded person so I’m sure the majority of my blog posts will be short and sweet! Plus, my husband & 3 year old son are VERY demanding of my time (and I certainly can’t complain about that).
