Clearly a distraction was in order, lest she try to sleep with a tortured mind. As far as he was concerned… He found himself thankful the relationship had been ended. The man wasn't good for her, he hated the way he treated her. However… Uttering the fact he was thankful that perhaps that terrible man would stay away from her now was ill timed. She would still be broken hearted from it all.

A small sigh leaves him, as he starts to type a response to her.

So she couldn't really get on him for….well. Being a friend. They were equal in that regard, after all. On top of that, admittedly-his suggestions were…tantalizing. It might just take her mind off of everything that had transpired.

She hesitated for a moment, as if debating. Could she keep herself in check and not cry immediately upon arrival? Could she bring herself to spend time elsewhere and not alone, like what she wished for in this moment? perhaps it would be better to not be alone--especially given her mental and emotional state, in this moment. Emeralds glance back at the ring, resting upon her dresser, before turning her gaze back to her phone.

Beautiful, smart, talented..the list could go on. The redhead would be lying, if she said there weren't moments she found herself staring at the pinkette that was currently before her--holding out her hand to her. Yet, the only thought she had in this moment was --but why would she? This thought isn't voiced, no. She couldn't. Despite the fact that, she could never see why the other was so…absurdly determined with the healer from another world. Maybe she felt that they were similar…Both not necessarily belonging where they were, in this moment, for one reason or another. She, lost to time. The healer? Well. Landed here, running away from her home.

Emeralds blink at the female when she speaks to her once more, pulling her from her thoughts. She realized she had left the other waiting. She hadn't meant to-her mind was running through so many, many thoughts and ideas. The corner of her lips curl upwards just slightly, she taking her hand finally--for the other to immediately pull her close, their bodies touching in this moment. Suddenly, she felt far, far too warm--and she was distinctly aware of where the pinkette's hands were. One held her right hand, the other--resting on her waist, impeccably tightly. Perhaps even a little possessive.

What Akila noticed more, however, was her eyes-beautiful rose quartz were meeting emeralds head on, completely unbreaking of eye contact. There's a smile painted in lightly tinted pink lips-her body warm and soft against hers. She starts to lead the redhead-a hum leaving her as she did. Noticeably, she was never too far from her body. And any moment she had to step away briefly--such as when she twirled the freckled ginger--she immediately pulled her back. Something about this dance felt far, far too intimate. More intimate than she was use to with Ennosuke…but she couldn't bring herself to pull away from her, at all.

If anything, her heart was racing--and her cheeks flushed warm. Da-dum. Da-dum. Da-dum. Da-dum.

❝ R-Remielle… ❞ She murmurs, emeralds meeting her gaze. What did she have planned? What was going on in that head of hers, as they shared this rather close and intimate, sensual dance together?

Especially not with her current train of thoughts, recently. Especially not after events with certain people in her life. With her father attempting to come back to her life, and Ennosuke pushing for something more ‘normal’ with them both….

She is careful in her steps, trying to be as quiet as possible. He had his back to her, in this moment--his gaze staring out into the open sea. He seemed…peaceful, in this moment, rather than troubled.

Unlike her.

She finally steps as close to him as possible-her hand reaching out before she paused. Emeralds soften a bit, noticing he hadn't turned to her. ❛ I…am probably just bothering him. He looks so peaceful right now…I shouldn't… ❜ She bites her lower lip, before pulling her hand back entirely now. As much as she wanted his presence--she couldn't bring herself to ask. Especially with how much of a wreck she was, in this moment. Thus, as quietly as she came to him-she retreats, already turning her back away from him.

Only to feel her wrist immediately grabbed-enough force to keep her from moving, but gentle enough to not hurt her.

She freezes at this, having genuinely not expected him to notice her--but fact, she had hoped he hadn't…yet…he had. He had noticed and realized, and now here he was--holding her wrist. ❝ Something clearly troubles you. What's wrong? ❞ comes his query --and she wonders if he had caught a glimpse of her before she turned, or if that was just a guess or a hunch…

Mayhaps both.

❝ I…I'm sorry. I was trying not to bother you, Camilie-san… ❞ She quietly admits, emeralds focused upon the ground before her in this moment. She was caught red-handed, but…

The words froze in her throat, and refused to come out.

A highly technically advanced world, but one that many would swear was lost off the map. For so long, it was unable to be found.

Some would state it to be one of the most advanced worlds out there. Not only is it advanced in technology, it is also advanced in architecture and design. With Akila's parents spearheading both interior and exterior looks on buildings, and she next in line for family lead.

Oh, how wrong she was.

Emeralds stare at the diamond ring on her ring finger, dainty fingers pressing against it, before carefully sliding it off of her finger. She then quietly places it upon her dresser, before reaching back for her phone.

It wasn't like she'd need the ring anymore, anyway.

wanted to recommend a free app i saw on tiktok called Pocket Bard that's mainly used for adding ambient noise to TTRPGs... but would be phenomenal for setting the scene as you write replies on tumblr (or just for writing in general)! you can change the location (a city, a forest, a lair, etc.), the weather, and the sound effects around you. you can even change the level of intensity with a slider to make things more peaceful or more intense and dramatic.
