( I am working on Itsuki's gacha accounts and it's amusing to me how many people he interacts with probably don't realize how much money he does actually sit on.

And in terms of his gacha games, while he does spend, he does try to see what he gets from patches first unless he really wants sales to reflect love for a character. Also any money he earns from streaming goes into a 'for fun' bank account that is used for pull streams. So some of his stuff doesn't even come out of his normal money. )

           ❝  None  of  your  usual  methods  are  working  at  all?  Hm…  ❞  She  repeats  quietly,  wondering  what  could  she  do  to  ease  him.  Ami,  in  this  moment,  decides  to  hop  onto  the  bed  with  the  healer--she  gently  scritching  her  ear  in  this  moment.  She  seems  to  be  debating  what  to  say.  She  had  never  met  his  mother-but  every  time  he's  brought  her  up,  she  had  this  sense  of…dread  and  ill  intent.  A  sense  of  worry  and  fear  from  him--as  if  she  was  watching  at  every  corner. 

It  reminded  her  of  her  own  parental  figure…the  one  still  alive,  at  least.

           ❝  Do  you  wanna  talk  about  what  happened  with  your  mother…?  Or  perhaps  we  can  talk  about  something  more  light  hearted?  Actually…how  have  you  been  progressing  in  the  game  we're  playing…?  ❞  Comes  her  quiet  query,  a  small  smile  on  her  features.  A  certain  popular  otome  had  recently  hit  an  anniversary,  and  currently  the  cards  and  event  up  were…sweet. 

Almost  teeth  rottingly  so.

                 ❝  I'll  pass  on  talking  about  her,  but  as  for  the  game  I  just  finally  hit  the  last  card.  I  uh.  May  or  may  not  have  had  to  swipe.  It's  fine  I  also  got  the  four  invitations  too  while  I  was  at  it.  They're  so  pretty…   ❞

     How  funny  was  it  that  it  was  wedding  banners…  In  light  of  the  conversation  with  his  mother  earlier.  He  wondered  often  if…  Marriages  could  be  even  happy.  He  hadn't  been  exposed  to  a  single  happy  one.  It  was  all  busy  or  acting  for  the  public  eye,  while  a  turbulent  storm  existed  behind  closed  doors.  Which  wasn't  exactly  comforting  for  the  poor  romantic.  He  did  want  to  get  married  someday…  But…

         Not  if  it  meant  living  like  that.

                  ❝  What  about  you?  Any  luck  yet?   ❞

                 𝐈𝐓  𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍'𝐓  𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐄  𝐇𝐈𝐌  𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓  𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑  𝐇𝐀𝐃  𝐀  𝐋𝐎𝐓  𝐓𝐎  𝐒𝐀𝐘,  𝐈𝐍  𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒  𝐌𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓.  𝐈𝐍  𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐓,  𝐇𝐄  𝐖𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃  𝐁𝐄  𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄  𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐃  𝐈𝐅  𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓  𝐖𝐀𝐒  𝐀𝐋𝐋  𝐇𝐄'𝐃  𝐒𝐀𝐘.  He  didn't  think  the  other  could  speak  on  it  all  right  in  this  moment-at  least,  if  he  was  understanding  the  situation  correctly.  Sato  was  a  big  name.  You  have  to  be  living  under  a  rock  to  not  have  heard  of  the  family,  so  Phainon  wasn't  surprised,  entirely,  that  there  was  something  hidden  and  dark  underneath  the  Sato  name. 

Unfortunately,  most  big  name  families  had  something.

           ❝  ….Itsuki…  ❞  For  now,  the  white  haired  male  didn't  focus  it;  Instead,  he  focused  on  the  redhead  before  him.  The  fact  that…he  had,  though  quiet,  admitted  something  to  the  white  haired  male…something  that  he  could  tell  was  hard.  Something  he  was  scared  to  say,  in  this  moment.  Did  he….?  Was  this  an  appropriate  moment  to  say  the  thing  that's  been  on  his  mind  for  a  while  now?  The  one  that  made  his  heartbeat  rise  the  moment  he  tried  to  bring  it  up--only  to  not  be  able  to?

           ❝  …I  don't  think,  if  your  reactions  and  what  you've  told  me  now  are  anything  to  go  by,  she  understands  what  proper  familial  love  is.  Maybe  even  love  in  general.  I  think  you  have  a  better  understanding  of  it…and  I  know  for  a  fact  I  do  too.  As  for…leaving  you….  ❞  He  pauses,  debating  how  best  to  word  it--for  deciding,  it  was  just  better  to  be  upfront  and  honest.

           ❝  Itsuki…I  wouldn't  even  dream  of  such.  I  want  to  be  here,  with  you.  ❞

    𝖧𝗂𝗌  𝗐𝗈𝗋𝖽𝗌...  𝖨𝗍  𝗆𝖺𝖽𝖾  𝖨𝗍𝗌𝗎𝗄𝗂  𝗐𝗈𝗇𝖽𝖾𝗋  𝗂𝖿  𝗉𝖾𝗋𝗁𝖺𝗉𝗌  𝗁𝗂𝗌  𝖿𝖾𝖾𝗅𝗂𝗇𝗀𝗌  𝗐𝖾𝗋𝖾  𝗋𝖾𝗍𝗎𝗋𝗇𝖾𝖽.  𝖶𝖺𝗌  𝗁𝖾  𝖻𝖾𝗂𝗇𝗀  𝗌𝖼𝖺𝗋𝖾𝖽  𝗈𝖿  𝗋𝖾𝗃𝖾𝖼𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇  𝖿𝗈𝗋  𝗇𝗈𝗍𝗁𝗂𝗇𝗀?  𝖸𝖾𝖺𝗁...  𝖲𝗈𝗎𝗇𝖽𝖾𝖽  𝗋𝗂𝗀𝗁𝗍  𝖿𝗈𝗋  𝗁𝗂𝗆.   A  shaky  breath  is  taken  in,  then  released  as  he  steps  closer  to  the  taller  male,  hand  squeezing  his  once  more.

                      ❝ &&  if…  I  said  I  felt  the  same...  &&  that  my  feelings  weren't  exactly  platonic,  what  then,  Phainon?  Do  you  feel  the  same?  Can  you…  Deal  with  what  dating  me  would  mean?  ❞

     Even  if  his  mother  wasn't  sticking  her  nose  into  places  it  didn't  need  to  be,  there  was  the  fact  he  was  in  the  public  eye.  Because  of  name.  Because  of  his  online  presence.  He  wasn't  a  renowned  celebrity,  but  he  was  in  the  limelight  enough.  People  would  be  watching  him,  posting  rumors…  The  whole  nine  yards  of  it.  He  didn't  want  Phainon  to  get  dragged  into  it  unless  he  was  certain…

         Especially  since  Phainon  was  someone  else  with  a  bit  of  a  popularity  himself.  Hell,  they  had  met  during  modeling,  of  course  he  did.  Perhaps  Itsuki  was  worrying  over  nothing,  but  he  couldn't  help  it.  He  didn't  want  those  he  cared  about  getting  hurt.

            So…Sato  Itsuki  isn't  his  real  name,  and  he  was  originally  an  orphan…Phainon  wasn't  truly  sure  what  to  initially  say,  in  regards  to  that.  There  was  so  many  questions  bubbling  in  the  white  haired  male's  head,  but--first  and  foremost,  he  wanted  to  comfort  the  ginger.  Thus,  he  squeezed  his  hand  once  more--hoping  it'd  draw  his  gaze  to  him. 

           ❝  …I…Itsuki.  Deep  breath.  I'm  not  going  anywhere,  no  matter  what  you  tell  me.  That,  I  swear-.  Okay?  ❞  He  murmurs  softly,  blues  gentle  as  he  steps  closer  to  the  other  now.  Would  he  let  him  touch  him  more…?  He  wasn't  sure,  and  he  didn't  want  to  risk  it.  It  must  have  taken  a  lot  for  him  to  even  consider  telling  Phainon  this  information.  Still…it  all  but  confirmed  what  Anaxa  wondered. 

           ❝  My  answer  is,  is  that  that  still  doesn't  change  my  opinion  of  you.  How  I  feel  about  you…does  it  worry  me?  Of  course.  Especially….given  the  original  son's…cause.  But  it  also  confirms  something  we  were  all  wondering  about  you….But  I  get  the  feeling  there's  more  to  this  than  that,  isn't  there?  ❞

         Suddenly  all  of  his  life  experiences  felt  so  very  heavy.  As  if  the  sheer  weight  of  them  would  be  enough  to  break  him  to  pieces  outright.

                 ❝  There's…  So  much  I  haven't  told  you.  ❞

    Comes  the  beginning  of  his  answer,  but  he  still  didn't  know  where  to  go  with  continuing  it.

                 ❝  &&  some  things,  I'm  not  even  sure  if  I  can  say  right  now…  It's  hard  to  talk  about.  I…  Can  say  I  don't  think  my  current  mother  loves  me  at  all  &&  just  views  me  as  some  kind  of  tool  for  her  gain.  I  can  also  say  that  I…  ❞

    Was…  Right  now  even  an  appropriate  time  for  a  confession  now?  Surely  it  should  be  at  some  time  when  he  didn't  just  drop  all  of  this  heavy  shit…

                 ❝  That  I...  C-Can't  stand  the  thought  of  you  ever…  leaving  me…  ❞

    His  voice  had  dropped  lower  &&  lower  into  a  barely  heard  whisper  by  the  end  of  the  uttered  sentence.

    Words  were  proving  to  be  difficult,  but  hearing  her  voice  &&  knowing  someone  was  on  the  other side  of  the  line  at  least  proved  to  be  comforting  to  some  extent.

                 ❝  I'm…  Just  having  a  really  hard  night,  Akila-chan…  I  don't  know  what  to  do  with  myself.  All  my  normal  distractions  aren't  working  &&  I  just  keep  spiraling  worse…  I'm  going  to  blame  it  on  the  conversation  my  mother  &&  I  had  earlier  today.  ❞

    A  heavy  sigh  is  exhaled  as  he  leans  back  against  the  stack  of  pillows  at  the  head  of  his  bed.  Free  hand  reached  out  to  gently  scratch  behind  Yuna's  ears,  she  starting  to  purr  in  her  deep  sleep.

                 ❝  I  just…  Need  someone  to  help  me  calm  down.  I  don't  want  to  end  up  doing  something  I'll  regret....  ❞
