Mel felt bad that you were spending so much money on small trinkets, but you insisted that you wouldn’t want to spend it on anything else. At a certain booth, you and Mel picked out matching handmade rings. You jokingly said they were your wedding rings, but you couldn’t help but notice how hard Mel blushed at that.

By the end of the day, you and Mel were thoroughly exhausted. Your feet were throbbing, and your arms were aching from carrying all your belongings. Despite your eagerness to leave, you decided to stay a bit longer so that Mel could meet the king and queen. It was all worth it just to see Mel’s joyful smile.

As you reached the car after leaving the fairgrounds, you let out a deep sigh. Mel, still beaming with joy, was practically bouncing up and down when she suddenly pulled you into a deep kiss.
