Roopi-Style Masala Chai
Makes: 2 cups
Ingredients:
1 cup water
2 tea bags black tea or 1 ½ rounded tbs loose leaf black tea
2 pods Cardamom or ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder
1 Clove, crushed
½ teaspoon Cinnamon powder
¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
1 pinch Salt
1 teaspoon Sugar or to taste
1 cup milk
Directions:
In a pot, add the water and spices and simmer for 3 minutes with the lid on.
Add the tea bags and the milk and bring to a boil.
Pour into cups and serve.
