Woah. Came back to Tumblr for a sec and found your reply. Anyways, if you do more easter eggs or hidden lore, one important thing is to make sure it doesn't seem like it's suppose to be found in a certain order. If you want something to be non-linear, make sure it DOESN'T look like it fit's anywhere in the gameplay at all. Not because it's not mandatory, but because it doesn't help progress the game, despite looking so. Then people are gonna search all over the place for differences. GL next one

I know that the paper isn't required anymore, but I feel like with the presence still there it causes unnecessary confusion. Especially if you figure it out yourself. And the name and dialogue for the Mother's second cabinet heavily implies you can open the first cabinet as well, and that you were suppose to before that event. If it's the same situation as the paper, I have the same opinion on it.

THANK YOU/// People are WAY too nice to this game, I understand itās a first time game but please AHAHA iām sure there are a LOT more flaws than that XDD The game itself definitely needs a LOT more polishing but sadly this was a game I created under a time limit! So I dun plan to go back and fix it, since the goal was met: to make a functioning game under a timespan š„² Iām happy you enjoy the game for what it is!! I am still learning so these feedbacks help a lot!!
I can understand the confusion and mix up of the order of the gameplay! If youāre thinking linear, it would make sense but some tasks are actually optional for a reason!
I did aim for a more straightforward gameplay! It was suppose to be mandatory to find the cabinet keys and paper to proceed, so you would get everything all at once as you go. However, those key items specifically, the payoff was not worth the time/struggle when finding them, it was more of me trying to sneak in some backstory that may interest some players as they play through. (Through beta run, majority had a tough time with that section of the gameplay, hence the misassumption of the time to complete the gameplay: it would take most 1-2hrs JUST FOR THAT PART. now itās only 20min or less after the fix) So instead of mandatory, I made it an optional task for any players whoās willing to take the time to search for a small, minuscule detail of backstory to add on to the more exploratory side of the gameplay. Tbh I leik the more non linear approach to gameplay, I like to be able to see if there are more extra stuff to do aside from the main route! Hopefully I can achieve this in future games when I feel up to make another one! THANK YOU!!
does Arachne's mom ever embarrassed her daughter by accident before in some way?
Yes haha! Thereās this mutual rivalry between the two when it comes to talent and Arachneās mom always want to push Arachne to be better to surpass her own kin so you can imagine moments of her mom doting her, but it can come off as embarrassing XD
I find it funny that the daughter's name is Arachne and due to the anime style of the game the mother may say "Ara" but then you wouldn't be sure if it's a nickname for Arachne or if it's the "Oh my" trope(or both)! xD

Theyāre not hidden! Theyāre smeared all over the house, like furnitures and such! You catch more as you progress through each room!

hi!! first off, i just beat the game and wanted to say i love this game so much!! i enjoyed it immensely and the art is so cute! i just wanted to ask if the paper in the basement was supposed to play a part? (unless i missed something;;)

In regards to the paper, tbh, I had to change up the order of the puzzle because it became too challenging for most players to progress the game. So what I did was switch things around so players can progress through each ending with no problem, while I placed the paper puzzle as more of an extra thing for story depth rather than an obligation to progress the gameplay!
So itās really just a tiny extra thing to do that you can totally skip over without missing anything!
This is one of the few games that i find cute oddly,Not many times do games touch that soft spot but its quite adorable to me,Why idk but it's wonderful,Hopefully more comes soon.

hello, i have a problem whenever i try to make the Special Scissors it doesnt work, i dont know if im doing it wrong, i have the vinegar and the water and the spider web threat and i go to the tub and it doesnt work. please helpppp
You need regular scissors as well! You probably forgot to pick it up!
For some reason I can't trigger the Deep Cut ending, it just shows the Out Of Love one. I don't know what may be wrong
Have you updated your version of the game?
If you hear a scream, that is considered a Deep Cut ending! (You might have an old version thatās a typo)
