They didn't keep the camp safe enough, but it's different now! I can't believe he, I mean, whatever's in the woods almost got you! I dont even know what that might mean... But it wont happen again under my watch.

Born and raised! Just I don’t think anyone truly fits into the narrative here. It’s too wonky for that, in general.
How can there be a narrative if no one fits in?
Well it’s not our narratives! You see we haven’t been on track since 2005 and everything we do is new. Our lives are affected by the lords every day, but It makes the boring world outside of us shine all the brighter. I mean I haven’t been able to leave the island since I was in 5th grade…
But doesn't that make a narrative in and of itself?
Hmm I’ve never thought of it that way, idk what do you think?
I think that it's our narrative. Even if the Lords are pulling the strings, we're still the ones actually here doing the things, going about our lives, the faces and voices.
That’s a good way of looking at it, I suppose freedom is a constrict of choice. And we make these choices even when influenced. I mean what’s Hatchetfield without it’s residents?
