Doing press with Tom would include....
A/N: Hi so, I don’t really know how I feel about this? But I'm taking the risk and posting it anyway lmao, hope at least one person likes it!!!
Ok, first of all, let’s be real, interviews were always a bitch
You loved your job but it was just sO tiring
So when press came around for your latest movie, [insert random rom-com here], you were dreading it
Tom (your characters love interest) was lowkey dreading it too, but he grew fond of you over the 6 months of filming so he was just happy that he got to do it with you
“We’ve got a lot of press today, Y/N, you ready?”
But as the day started, you were feeling better
You were lowkey just happy to be spending time with Tom
He would just shamelessly be admiring you as you went off rambling about something that happened on set
When you’d talk about the actual movie, Tom would just be amazed by how easily you answered questions and how well thought out your answers were
Like he would just stare at you with a huge ass grin on his face
(cause he truly was amazed)
You’d bring up tons of embarrassing stories about him because you loved his reactions
He’d hide his head in his hands but he wouldn’t be able to stop smiling
And it was so cute you couldn’t help but giggle
Y’all would unknowingly flirt constantly....
And the interviewers would be like, ‘they lowkey fucking.’
On top of that Tom would also be praising you constantly
“Yeah, Y/N, was just such a fun person to work with. They’re so talented it’s unbelievable, it was truly a pleasure.”
“Awh Tom, you truly flatter me.” You’d say, teasing him.
The two of you would also talk about all your antics on set, Tom saying you were like his ‘partner in crime’ on set
And you agreed cause y’all were pranksters
Interviewers would ask him about his spidey gig constantly and he’d gush about being spider-man
Which you’d love because he was obviously so passionate about it
You’d joke about it anyways saying, “Damn, Holland, you really can’t go anywhere without Spidey following you.”
To which he smiled brightly because he knew it was true and he loved it
And it made your heart flutter
There also happened to be a very awkward sex scene between your two characters so it was only a matter of time before someone brought it up
"Well, I am into method acting.” He’d say with a shrug and a playful smirk
“Yeah, because sex with you really would be that awkward.”
Tom’s eyes would widen and you quickly clasp your hand over your mouth once you realized what you had said
“Anyways...” you say, changing the subject quickly, not being able to contain your laughter
Inevitably, there would be personal questions which you hated because you were painfully single (and crushing on your co-star)
So when one of the interviewers asked if you were single, you sighed saying, “Yes, I am in fact single.”
“And ready to mingle?” Tom would respond in a joking tone.
You just roll your eyes, “Never say that again.”
Tom snickered at how annoyed you sounded
Inside his heart would hurt cause he just wanted to be with you so badly
But you were co-stars and best friends and he didn’t want to ruin that
But anyways, at the end of the day, press may have been something you dreaded, but with Tom, it was enjoyable
And you were so very greatful for that and for him
