Dungeons & Dragons Dungeon Command - Heart of Cormyr 2012
Approximately 5 years ago (2012) I had a major stumbling block as a miniature painter. At the time I was incredibly self critical of my painting abilities and stressed over the quality and neatness of the finished project. It was starting to effect my desire to hobby and the number of abandoned projects was disheartening in itself. Picking up the Dungeon Command game and various other D&D game pieces to repaint has helped me relax and indeed become a better painter. The minis are low detail and very forgiving, quite honestly any amount of work makes them look better. This simple project really got me back on track and gave me a confidence boost when I needed it most. Painting miniatures for the fun of it.
