[PimpMySims4] Better Elders Mod V1.0.1.3

Hey guys! I have a minor update for you guys, sorry that I could not include more features. I will try to update with more content soon!

Traits:

Doting Grand Parent

Grandparent sims can use the “Spoil Grandchild” Interaction in the friendly category to give their grand kids money for toys and for a chance of gaining this trait. It is a gameplay trait which makes sims autonomously interact with kids more and give whims you would expect from a good grandparent.

Grumpy Geezer

Elders can use the “Destroy Hope and Dreams” Interaction in the mean category on a child or teen have a chance of gaining this trait. It is a gameplay trait which makes sims autonomously act mean towards other sims including kids. They will also have mean whims.

Jaded

Children or teens who get their dreams crushed will gain this trait. It is a gameplay trait which makes sims occasionally sad because their dreams were crushed at an early age.

Interactions

With this mod elder sims will have more interactions that are exclusive to them. There are a few social interactions that all elders can use under the friendly interaction or mean interaction such as:

“Ask To Fix Phone”

“Gossip About Neighbor’s Kids”

“Spoil Grandchild” *New*

“Destroy Hopes and Dreams” *New*

“Complain about Technology”

“Get off my lawn”

Depending on your sim’s traits, they will be able to use other interactions too. For example, if your elder sim is family orientated they can also  use:

“Give Life Advice”

“Tell Stories About Old Times”

If you have an elder sim has hot headed trait they can use interactions such as:

“Criticize Modern Music”

“Give Unsolicited Advice”

There are a few more interactions but I think it is more fun if you explore them for yourself. Most positive traits unlock the positive interactions and the negative traits unlock the negative interactions. If you a sim with both (i.e. good and hates children) they will have access to all the interactions.

Some of the interactions will give the sims buffs depending on how well they receive the interaction so look out for that. For example, some sims may not like getting life advice from an elder.

Honor your brave veteran sims (City Living Required for goaled event)

This lot trait will spawn elder sims to the lot automatically and your sims will get a happy or uncomfortable buff depending on their age while on the lot. *New* Caretakers will now also spawn and help out the elder sims by cooking, cleaning, and socializing with them.

Magic Is Fun - Practising Magic Becomes Fun!

Required: Realm of Magic

Hi! This is my first attempt at making something useful to share with people, and I hope it makes your spellcaster experience that little bit more enjoyable.

What will this file do in my game?

This is a tuning file that will allow your spellcaster to enjoy practising magic and experimenting with cauldrons, because it is silly that they do not enjoy such an important part of being a spellcaster by default!

When practising/experimenting with magic, your sim’s fun motive will now increase instead of decrease.

Please note: This does not currently apply to

casting

spells or

brewing

potions. This applies to the Practice (Magic Type) and Experiment (with Cauldron) interactions.

Which version should I download? (Please select only one!)

Lo Fun Version | Time to fill fun meter from empty: ~ 4-5 Sim Hours

Mid Fun Version | Time to fill fun meter from empty: ~ 2-3 Sim Hours

Hi Fun Version | Time to fill fun meter from empty: ~ 1-2 Sim Hours

Caveats and other information

There are no currently known conflicts with this file, however any mods that alter values directly determined upon practising magic or experimenting with a cauldron could

possibly

create a conflict.

Primary examples could include: increasing the spellcaster XP gain rate or altering other motive rates when practising magic/experimenting with cauldrons.

Added new small Mod “Improved Practical Spells” (Realm of Magic) While playing i missed some features for some spells i actually used ingame so far and added/adjusted them:

Added Scruberoo on Toddler

Scruberoo used on Potty will now get rid of the green steam

Random Small Mods

Added a hidden Relationship to Familiars. Unfortunaley how Familiars are coded i could not add a “real” Relationship to them so you don’t see it and the Relationship counts for all Familiars together instead of one for each. The higher the Relationship the higher the chance you get Gifts. I added a “Talk with” Interaction to Familiars which gains Relationship and sometimes gives your Sim Perk Points. Being with your Familiar also gains Relationship and filles the Fun Motive every 30 Minutes. The Relationship has a small decay so you could lose Relationship when you don’t summon a Familiar for quite some time. Added Chinese by Dannywangjo.

Sims 4: Three Mermaid Aspirations

I have created three new sims 4 mermaid aspirations. You will be able to download one package file containting all three aspirations (MERGED), or you will be able to pick and choose and download the aspirations you want individually. These aspirations all need Seasons and Island Living expansions. Siren Aspiration A siren wants to use their mermaid powers and enchanting voice to lure sims, either for seduction, or something much more dangerous? Found under Deviance Category in CAS. Reward Trait: Hypnotising This sim has everybody wrapped around their finger. Others are hypnotised by them! Mischief and charisma skills increase faster (both 1.4x increase), and fun and energy needs dedcay slower (both 0.6x slower decay). - comes with new buffs. Deadly SpellCasters Mod

Required : Realm of Magic GP Optional : Seasons EP This mod adds 8 cool new, yet deadly spells (10 spells in total if you have Seasons EP) for your spellcaster sim.

The list of the spells : 1.Burnio We already have the ‘Inferniate’ spell to set anything on fire… But that spell won’t burn other sims until they die if you cast that spell directly to other sims. Burnio is a spell that will do it… It will burn other sims to death 2. Electrucio This spell will make other sims die by Electrocution. 'Zipzap’ spell could never do this, right? 3. Enragio Using this spell on other sims will make them so angry that they will die eventually They will die by Cardiac Explosion (Death by Enraged Emotion) 4. Mortifio Using this spell on other sims will make them so embarrassed that they will die eventually They will die by Mortification (death by mortified/over embarrassed emotion) 5. Hysterio Using this spell on other sims will make them die by laughing hysterically 6. Explosio This spell will explode its target and kill them right after that. Basically, the target will die by spellcaster overload 7. Starvio Spellcasters who use this spell can make their targets die by starvation 8. Ghostificio Spellcasters can use this spell to turn their targets into ghosts directly without dying Fun fact : This is the only spell you can use on the Grim Reaper, other spells won’t work on him… I’ve tried 9. Frozio (You’ll need Seasons EP to use this spell) This spell will make its targets frozen and then they’ll die 10. Lightnizapio (You’ll need Seasons EP to use this spell) This spell will struck its targets by a lightning bolt. They’ll die right after that How to stop being a deadly spellcaster and remove all deadly spells? You can click on the Deadly Orb and click “return the spells back to the object”. After doing that, your spellcaster won’t have deadly spells anymore

Dear Sims Modding Community

Please help us make Realm of Magic great!

 would like to preface this by saying that I understand that the Sims creators may be under a lot of stress to meet deadlines and such that they may have. I also acknowledge the fact that we simply don’t know that is happening. I mean if they have restrictions or set backs that cause a lack of quality content we’ve been seeing.

Okay sooo, I would like say that I loved the idea of the pack, but I feel like there was so much they could have done and didn’t. So I ask all of you wonderful modders and creators to help us (those who can’t do the things you do) make a better game play experience. 

1. We have a calendar system so why not add moon phases. It would have been awesome to if you could only brew certain potions on a full or new moon. It would also add a little bit of difficulty 

2. New jobs to go with the witchy theme. Something like potions master, fortune telling, dueling master, and other things.

3. Mischief spells that really mess with people. For example, cast a spell and make someone naked or make them pee themselves. Just more, better spells

4. NEW TRAITS and Reward Store Traits. 

5. New types of retails things that could hold brooms for those who want to run a witch shop.

In conclusion, I just wanted to complain a bit. I just feel like there is a slight like in quality and I find myself kinda bored playing the game sometimes (Thank god for mods they have been what has kept me going). I just feel like compared to other versions of the game like SIMS 3 the content we get in each pack isn’t as good, but maybe it is just me.
