I feel like the ninja at first before hearing his voice or name (bc I hc early seasons zane to have to be around a person for a while before talking to them bc of lack of human communication) they couldn't tell if Zane was a boy or girl.

Like, it could've been obvious by his hair or wtv but I don't think Dr. Julien made him look a certain gender because it wasn't necessary. But since Zane picks up how others act, Zane just acts more male because Julien did.

I feel like he would have some masculine and feminine features, imo like a more feminine face (possibly to come off as nicer) but more masculine body and frame for fighting.

So like, the ninja would be introduced to him by name like "ohhhh 'Zanee' he is a boyy" and Zane's like "what is a boy"

Lloyd — aromantic

Lloyd seems to me like a character not interested in romance. He loves his family, he understand platonic love, but he cannot grasp the concept of romantic feelings, like the one his parents felt towards each other. But I do think he could feel sexual attraction, maybe not the strongest one, but it's here.

Nya — aroflux bisexual

I think Nya is a character who would feel romantic attraction as a fluid thing. She would know she feels attracted towards a person but it will never be the "full" romantic feeling. I think she would have a full crisis after getting into relationship with Jay (and I think it'll work out for them).

Kai — bisexual genderqueer

I really enjoy headcanon of a trans-woman Kai. But when I think about it, Kai feels like someone who would express their gender in more than one form. He does not exactly know what that means for him but he simply doesn't care. He is fire first, and them a man or a woman (a woman more).

Zane — quoiromantic agender

I don't think Zane actually thinks about things like this. Maybe sometimes he would speculate what does it mean for his humanity but not really care.

Cole — gay

I think he always knew it. He got crushes on both girls and boys since he was little, he found Kai as pretty as Nya when he met them, I love imagining him having a little crush on new Samurai X for a brief moment.

Skylor — lesbian

Can't elaborate. In some universe she's dating transwoman Kai.

Unlike Zane, she's integrated into society more, so she understands the meaning of gender and orientations better. Despite this fact, she refuses to cooperate with it. She knows she's a queer and that's enough for her. Girl just said "fuck everything" and dropped the mic.
