People keep characterizing Tomura to be the annoying manchild that would kill his allies if they annoy him and AFO as the smart collected overlord when it’s literally the other way around? The word manchild barely worked for tomura cause frankly, he was just having full blown panic attacks on the battlefield. AFO on the other hand frequently talks about his favorite comic book series, looks like a star wars character, makes everything about him, gets petty revenge on OFA users that annoyed him, and overall has the mentality of a 5th grader who writes fanfiction. He also would not hesitate to murder one of his minions if they annoyed him, he’d actually take joy in it. Tomura’s allies have made several mistakes and Tomura always just adapts to it and changes his plans up. Not to mention the fact that Dabi is outright rude to him and he’s still around. Tomura looks relatively sane in comparison to AFO who literally went through the trouble of locating and kidnapping his enemy’s grandchild who was previously removed from any record attached to her JUST so he could tell said enemy’s successor what he did. And I didn’t even mention the whole OFA thing. AFO is the most petty unhinged villain and always has been
