Incorrect. Jim Davis has gone on record saying that the Halloween strips were a nightmare. This is also supported by OUR Garfield being canonically Garfield’s overall 8th Life.

As told in “Garfield: His 9 Lives”, Garfiled was born behind an Italian Resturant, was caught eating the Lasagna, was placed in the same pet shop as Odie (Who was established as being Garfield’s eternal rival through all his lives), and was adopted by Jon. Garfield will live long enough to see his GrandKittens.

overlord is more like

one morning you wake up in a strange world in the body of the character you rp as. You feel confused but in about two minutes decide that this is way better than the real world and you wouldn’t mind staying like that forever

your friends’ loyal OCs who were also transported to the world with you see you as some kind of infallible God-ruler whose master plan spans 10000 years into the future

intimidated by their devotion, you try to act the part of a powerful and wise leader despite the fact that your only knowledge of the subject comes from movies and vague recollections of what your bosses do at work

by some bizarre luck your completely BS’ed plans end in overwhelming success, causing their awe and expectations of you to increase thousandfold

you roll around in bed and cry from stress despite being a 3m tall skeleton
