The Woods is pretty much where souls go before they goes to their afterlife. it is always night out and always lit by a crescent moon. but the moon isn't the only thing that carries light.

What do lost ones look like? Are they hard to deal with? Do you just scare them away or do you have to ever fight them?

Lost one are deformed humanoid, with long limbs and a skinny body that blend into the Woods well. They tend to stand at 9 ft tall. their glowing eyes are always freaky..

The only way to ward them off is with the Lanterns of Eternal Souls. There isn’t really a way to fight back without harming their souls, so we tend to mostly ward them off.

I'd like to ask a question if you don't mind—! A question abt how the Guides work

As the name suggests it's fairly obvious what the works they do, but besides guiding souls & spirits, are there other entities that they guide with their light? And if they also protect said souls & spirit from other entities

If there are any entities that wish to harm them, what entity might it be?

As for entities that want to harm us, there are the Lost Ones, Spirits who spent too long in the Woods and lost their sanity, they don't really like bright lights so they will try to destroy the lanterns.
