In celebration of Valentine's day, go and give the first male/female (whichever you prefer) on your crush list a kiss!
why.. why teddie, of all people--
underage drinking @chie.
Souji didn’t know how but there was some sort of alcohol around. He wasn’t one to get drunk but something in the air made him feel exactly like in that club on there school trip. He wasn’t remembering how embarrassing that was but more how cool he felt. He was all ready cool, just more cool.
Holding a bottle that seemed like wine, it was a surprise that he spotted Chie. Maybe she wanted to get drunk with him.
“Oi Chie.”
This feeling was sickeningly sweet, and yet, Chie couldn't shrug it off. Why-- what on earth (or Arcadios; whatever floats your boat) was going on? This overwheming amorous air shouldn't have bothered her, but it did. It really got to her. It screwed up her brain, and it was going to take a toll on her dignity.
But when you couldn't think straight, who really cared?
Upon being called, she turned to her friend with an odd grin. As to how it was odd-- that would be left up to the interpreter's discretion. It wasn't her problem if they took it the wrong way, and she wouldn't care either way.
"So-u-ji-kyuuu~n!"
She ran to his side without hesitation. Oh, this would be good. Rather callously, she threw an arm around his shoulder. The height difference stretched her arm a little, but she wasn't going to fuss about it. Apparently, she was high on pollen - not that she knew, though.
Then let’s get drunk together! ☆
Yes! /brofist!

Persona Valentines 2/3
he’s drunk again, isn’t he.
…Sure he is.
Then let's get drunk together! ☆
/swag on.
Anyone wants to be my valentine?
he's drunk again, isn't he.
Erm, it’s late and all, but hopefully it still kinda counts? IDK really also sorry for being derpy I got all edgy and stuff because I didn’t know what to say and everyone else did it like they were reciting a speech and I tried to do the same so frihsodgerf.
Essentially, it failed, have fun and whatever idk? Happy Valentine’s Day anyway.

If only Nanako could be much more braver on her own like this, and she was capable! She could try and put on a brave face in front of all these strangers! But unfortunately it didn’t go that way, and she was still in-hiding at the end of Polis.
She wished that she was able to throw this feeling away, but everything was pounding loudly in her chest, and a little pain was in her stomach but not enough to make her sick as before.
The footsteps coming from the passing people made Nanako look up once more, and her brown eyes continued to search for anybody she knew! She didn’t want to cry though, even if the young girl was on the bridge of tears, Nanako had to be strong! She had to try and be brave!
But the aching feeling of loneliness had already set in, and the hand that was placed onto the side of the tree started to shake just a little. Her eyes downcast once more, and then she suddenly looked up seeing—
Wait wasn’t that?
“Chieeeee!” she replied in return, greeting her with an extra special smile; feeling that sick little feeling leaving her stomach just a little. “I didn’t think I’d see Big Bro’s friends—!!” Nanako finished, raising her hands up and now she let out a small giggle. “I’m so happy!”
Chie understood that feeling-- it must've been horrible for a girl like Nanako to deal with it, whether or not she'd been used to staying home alone on several occasions (if not all). It was horrible, and it was miraculous to see that a child hadn't yet cracked. The weight would have been crushing, but Chie would be there to lighten the load and make it a bit more bearable for the young Dojima.
Well aware of how scared she must've been, she made it her next goal to try and lighten the mood a little. First thing first - smile, because those things were contagious. Happiness was contagious, right? Sporting a boyish grin, she leaned down a little-- did Nanako get taller or something since Chie had been sent to Arcadios? - and tousled the girl's hair about a bit.
"Lucky, aren'tcha?" Chie hadn't fared so well, but, at least Nanako'd be happier about being sent to Arcadios against her free will or otherwise. That was much, much more important. "It's good to see you too, Nanako-chan!"
She offered the girl her hand to hold, but didn't expect it to be accepted. 'I'm old enough not to have to hold hands!' was the sort of thing she'd expect to hear, but she wouldn't turn Nanako down in case she did need something to cling to for a little bit. Chie wouldn't blame her at all.
"Let's go find something to do, shall we?"
A Beary Interesting Situation || Open
[Yup, this was definitely Chie! First Yukiko and now Chie! Had he died and gone to heaven? …No, Chie was still being herself around him… if this were heaven, she’d be swarming him with smooches left, right and centre! Giving a quick ‘Tut’ of the tongue, he replied to Chie, food was really the only thing on her mind…]
You’re so forceful Chie-chan~! I know you want to see human me but that’s gonna have to wait… You should know I need to put my body somewhere first.
[It was true though. It was stuffy inside the suit and as much as he wanted to take it off, he had to find somewhere to put it first! Otherwise children are going to be shocked to see a lifeless, headless bear suit lying around Polis. Beside, Chie’s cold nature towards him was cooling enough anyway, why won’t she accept his love?]
She slowly began to regret trying to see this little bastard under a different light. There wasn't anything different about this Teddie - he was the same pest from Inaba and the TV World, and there was no doubt about it. Out of habit, she smacked the back of Teddie's head-- or costume, whatever. It didn't matter. It was her way of physically reprimanding him for being stupid, and that was all that was important.
"Don't get any ideas! Just-- hide it somewhere or something, I don't know!" Her stomach growled with her. "I'm getting hungry, geez.."
If his love happened to manifest itself in the form of food-- preferably beef bowls, but she'd do with anything at the moment - then she'd reconsider any of his feelings. Until that day came, though, she'd treat him as horribly as she always did. Maybe that was her sort of love in return.
Come to think of it, not finishing his sentence before… could bring about any questioning to a different tongue around the parts of Arcadios. Heych? What the fuck would that even mean. Maybe he could turn this to his favor. Create a giant list of words that are just other words mashed together. Run around to all the new folk here in Arcadios and just start speaking.
Heych (hey)
Horeu (how are you?)
yrastupidwhore (you’re a stupid whore…)
So it would need some tweaking! He kept the thought in the back of his head. It would work eventually. The female knew enough to know the name but seemed the had forgotten about the male entirely. Scott was able to now start fresh. He found no cons besides going over the whole greeting again. Luckily she wasn’t in just a bra this time. he shook his head at his thoughts, raising his head quickly, amber hues lazily stared onto the female, slowly opening more and more.
“Chie.” The name rolled off of his tongue. It was one he didn’t forget, curse that sticky note on his door. He nodded, “Scott.” He replied to her, “Scott Pilgrim.” He bellowed a yawn and rubbed his eyes, “I’m sorry I just woke up, I guess jumping from the deck didn’t help anything.”
He paused, hearing his stomach gurgle, it yearned to consume anything within reach of it. Trees were not acceptable food for Scott, Polis would be the next best thing. He scratched his head, “So, perhaps I’m a little more then just tired.” Sparking an idea he went on. “Why don’t you come with me. You’re the new girl… I’ve practically lived here for a year or so.” He raised his hand and pointed to the exit of the village. “I know a place in Polis if your interested.”
Some walking would do the Canadian some good too. If he didn’t wake himself up he would end up falling asleep on Satonaka. Not in his best of interests.
"Scott. Got'cha."
Although the name seemed familiar, not once did she question it. It'd be awkward if she did suddenly realize anything, and she didn't want to make the effort anyway. Deal with the situation at hand, Chie. He was offering directions-- and a shout for lunch, too! A beef bowl would surely calm her nerves a little!
She'd almost welcomed the idea with open arms until she realized the many connotations the situation had. While the offer seemed innocent, there was so many other ways to interpret it - others might see his gesture of kindness to be something else. Chie wasn't stupid-- she wasn't going to fall for any sort of trick that he wanted to pull off in order to sway her heart (or anything like that - that was one of the many scenarios that took place in her head).
Scornful, she responded to his request - a yes, of sorts, however reluctant she still was.
"I hope you're not trying to ask me out."
She said that as a warning - she barely knew who this person was, and she sure as hell wasn't going to get to know him like that. Whether or not he knew her from whatever prior experiences, she didn't care-- she didn't remember any of it, and she wasn't going to try to, either. He'd at least need to get to a level where she could consider him a friend before she'd let him get away with making even the slightest move!
Air Man stopped for a moment to look back at the girl. He’d been expecting some show of appreciation, but it seemed like she at least was putting effort into it. “Of course. I do not know how many ‘robot-y things’ you have met, but I am glad you would rank me higher up.” Even his thank-yous sounded rather stiff.
“We are all in this situation together, after all. It would be foolish to not try and assist others. To form alliances and such. It can only be beneficial for both parties, no?” Air Man turned back to the forest, only to find a plethora of branches blocking their path. His stance widened, and suddenly, the fan in his chest kicked into high gear. The sudden windstorm cracked the branches and sent them flying. “Like now,” said Air Man, moving through the now-clear path. “You told me what you knew, and I will show you the way to the Polis.”
It wasn’t a perfect scenario for the machine; he was programmed to destroy humans, not help them, but he would have to be a fool to make enemies in such a secular society. No, he would have to make allies first, then he could make some enemies.
He glanced back at the girl, swiveling his torso, as he had no neck. “Tell me human, what is your name? I am trying to keep track of the people I meet here.”
Assuming that his response was more or less a 'thank you' on his behalf, she almost laughed-- almost. She would've, but she didn't want to explain to a robot why she found humor in his bland appreciation - that, and she'd rather not be insulted for being easily amused. While he wouldn't be wrong in saying she was simple minded, she wasn't going to accept that sort of thing either.
Her little moment had been short lived, though. The robot would probably notice her face fall, She'd suddenly realized the implications of being sent here - it was going to be one of those primitive battles for survival, wasn't it? Of course, that seemed a little bit too dramatic - but it would definitely be a living experience that wasn't too unlike it. The thought made her cringe.
Maybe she'd make friends with a robot. Just to save her life.

★ this isn't junes??
Nanako was usually a shy girl, and around those she didn’t know and maybe all that time she spent on her own made her like this. She was a lonely child when her Father wasn’t around, and Big Bro Souji was with his friends, but Nanako tried to occupy her time as much as she possibly could.
The last thing she did before somehow coming here was making her way to Junes, but what Nanako never realised was that she even got to her most favourite department store, and now she felt very alone.
Where was everyone that she knew? Her father, and Souji especially! But somehow Nanako was expecting this, as she always did end up by herself. Her face was half- hidden by the nearest tree, in the middle of the busy Polis area and she could only watch everyone as they walked past.
She didn’t feel right not knowing where her Dad was, and Nanako wasn’t sure on how to get anyone’s attention either since hardly anyone had looked her way yet, but the little Dojima didn’t mind that because she wasn’t sure on what she would say but Nanako really did need some help here, so her brown head poked out from the tree some more and she waited for the next person to come her way, raising her hand to give off a shy wave only putting it back at her side, and covering her face with the free hand.
Unlike everyone else shuffling around and making their way to specific destinations, Chie had chosen to spend her time familiarizing herself with the city of Polis-- even if that meant losing herself left, right and center. If she made mistakes as she wandered aimlessly, she'd be able to learn from them later (but that probably wasn't going to happen, considering Chie's lack of consideration for practicality).
Amongst the suffocating number of people, Chie caught the slightest glimpse of pink. She blinked-- it wasn't much to take note of, really, but it was one of those things that you tended to turn your head towards in case it was particularly interesting. What was it? She needed to stop in her tracks before she started squinting in order to make out what this shy little thing was - a native animal, maybe?
She'd regret even thinking that 'it' was an animal, though - when her face came into sight, Chie almost mentally bashed herself when she recognized Nanako. The only thing that stopped her was the distress clearly written all over the child's face - and she knew exactly why.
She knew the horrible feeling that bubbled inside Nanako's stomach - it wasn't too long ago since she'd been in that situation, and it wasn't the best one. With the hope that her presence would be even slightly reassuring, she greeted the young girl with a grin that stretched from ear to ear. At the very least, while she wasn't all too good with children, she'd offer what company she could.
"Nanako-chan--!"
without hope-- @Yukiko
Yukiko had been wandering in the plains aimlessly, her head tilted towards the immense azure skies. The skies seemed to reflect its own world. Wide, free and most of all, beautiful. So beautiful that one would be easily convinced that they were in a dream world. However, even though it was a pleasant place, Yukiko was sure she didn’t want to stay.
First of all, she had been extremely worried about many things - was she really going to be a resident? If that were the case, what about her the inn? And the beloved friends she had made over a short period of one year back home in Inaba. How was she going to find them? Sure, she had found Teddie. However, the priestess was still uncertain of the future. She couldn’t tell where her friends were located like how Rise-chan could, but she wanted to see them again at any cost. She was sure it was almost impossible, but meeting Teddie, it gave her just that tiny ray of hope.
The questions raised in her head were impossible to answer. Sighing, she grasped the fleece of her red cardigan, shaking her head. Among all of her friends, she had never been separated so long from one of her treasured friends before. A certain brunette who was on the complete opposite from the gentle and shy maiden. One who could bring her out of her shell and she was sure would be there for her. How she wanted to see Chie so badly!
… A manifestation of her thoughts seemed to appear as she looked off in the far distance, with the wind blowing her hair and disturbing it from its original position on her shoulders. With some strands of her hair blocking her vision, she thought her eyes had been playing tricks on her when she noticed a minuscule figure in the distance. A familiar figure, at that. The person whom she had just been thinking of and wanted to see. The green jacket, the sandy short hair…
“CHIE!”
The priestess had never shouted so loudly and so animatedly as her previously slow pace broke into a run. Her long locks falling in front of her face as she bounced, she prayed hard that she wasn’t dreaming. Usually, Yukiko wouldn’t have dared to take risks, but her heart lurched with anticipation this time, hoping that it was really her best friend from her childhood who was lying right there in the plains.
For someone so important to her, she wouldn’t have minded doing anything.
She was certain that she'd lost everything, but this tiny little sliver of hope kept her alive. Maybe you could call her delusional - but she couldn't just give in on everyone she knew like that.
“CHIE!”
When she was desperate, she really didn't know what her mind would do to her. She was sure that what she heard was just a lie - a lie that meant to pull at the strings of her heart. But, when she shifted her gaze to confirm that her hearing was playing tricks on her, her eyes lit up with a profound sense of glee. Pure, honest happiness. She'd never thought that she'd see her - Yukiko, her closest friend - ever again after what she'd been told about Arcadios.
Maybe miracles really did happen.
She got up onto her feet as if she were never on the ground in the first place - she stumbled a bit in her hurry, but got up perfectly fine nonetheless. She didn't once hesitate in running to her friend's side. Chie was completely and utterly dumbfounded-- but at the same time, she was so grateful to have one of her most treasured friends with her once more.
She could've sworn that she felt tears beading at the corners of her eyes - she was just so damn happy! Whatever god or goddess happened to be watching over-- she'd make sure to thank them with her utmost respect later on. She'd give them anything after this wonderful present.
"Yukiko--!"
Chie pulled the girl into her arms and squeezed her tight, as if to make sure that Yukiko really was real and she wasn't going crazy. She believed she was there - but it didn't hurt just to make sure, right?
"Yukiko-- I'm so glad, I'm just--"
She didn't know what to say. She really was ecstatic - and she could imagine that Yukiko was just as happy. Now that they had each other again, Chie felt that the days that she spent in this new world would be much, much less bleak.
