Have you ever looked at the stars and realised that’s your brothers and sisters, your family up in the night sky? You’re never alone as long as they are with you.
Nikita Gill (via meanwhilepoetry)
Sext - I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of looking at you.

Be patient, because when that time comes, it will come on time.

I have the deepest affection for intellectual conversations. The ability to just sit and talk about love, life, anything, and everything.

The question is not to know whether life has a meaning, but how each and every one of us, can give it one.
The Dalaï Lama
Far too many people are looking for the right person, instead of trying to be the right person.

Do you need more knowledge? Is more information going to save the world, or faster computers, more scientific or intellectual analysis? Is it not wisdom that humanity needs most at this time? But what is wisdom and where is it to be found? Wisdom comes with the ability to be still. Just look and just listen. No more is needed. Being still, looking, and listening activates the non-conceptual intelligence within you. Let stillness direct your words and actions.
Eckhart Tolle (via thecalminside)
More than the knowledge or the wisdom, it’s how we use it that makes all the difference. The stillness allows for the wisdom to shine, but stillness alone isn’t always wisdom. So where does the wisdom come from? From within ourselves, whichever way we uncover it. As to knowledge, knowledge isn’t entirely useless either... I’m pretty happy we can prevent tuberculosis and polio with vaccines. Information does make for a better world, if it is used wisely. What the world needs most is compassion and understanding.
