Reading through all your posts about centaurs solved many questions on the anatomy of centaurs but raised quite a few more. What do you think about the mobility and/or the flexibility of their waists? I'm thinking a centaur would be able to turn around and look around their backs, perhaps being able to reach their tails as well.
There is always more questions about centaurs, believe me, I just keep digging but this well has never-before explored depths.. That I am happier than a pig in slop to be exploring!
I think they would have a perfectly normal reach, maybe a little more flexible than your average human at the waist but I think that would depend on how much of a herd they have around to help them vs. having to care for themselves. With those who are on their own being much more flexible!
Also depends on their proportions and such, as I do think there’s plenty of variation across the cultures, some have larger horse bodies compared to their human half and are more difficult to care for themselves like those with smaller proportional horse-halves.
